We enjoyed our stay at Blacksmith, Kropa. This is a different accommodation with an inside that makes you fell like in a museum, but which provides all facilities that you would need for a long term stay. The location is excellent, the small town is surrounded by green hills in a gorgeous natural environment with easy access to the main roads.

I usually don’t mention the basics like cleanliness or the owner’s kindness — those were excellent here, of course — but what really stood out to me was that, for the first time, the actual property looked even better than the photos I saw when booking. It feels like the building is relatively new, and everything was in great condition. I’m also truly grateful to the previous guests who left such helpful reviews — they played a big role in helping me choose this place. We stayed for one night and everything was great. The hosts were absolutely lovely – Boštjan and his wife welcomed us warmly and even prepared breakfast for us. The location is excellent – about 15 minutes from Škofja Loka, in a peaceful village, perfect for hiking in the surrounding nature. They also have horses, which we had the chance to meet – a lovely bonus to an already great stay. Highly recommended!
