We went purely for skiing.

We went purely for skiing. Lovely slopes, just make sure there’s plenty of snow forecast, else it gets icy. For UK visitors it’s just over a 2 hour flight to Poprad Tatry (Wizz Air) and a 40 minute transfer and you can be skiing by afternoon if you have an early morning flight.

Jasna resort is pretty big and there's a lot to do.

Jasna resort is pretty big and there's a lot to do. The lift tickets are ~60 euro per day which personally I thought was way too much. I'm just a beginner though and the weather was really, really cloudy while I was there so on better days and a more experienced skier would definitely get more use out of the lift passes. Poiana Brasov in Romania is ~20 euro a day for lift passes and ~20 euro a day for a full ski set so my price expectations are probably ruined forever because of that.

A really fantastic new hotel with everything you can possibly want. Wonderful food. Outstanding Spa facilities. Beautiful rooms throughout the hotel including your bedroom! We will be back as soon as we can.

The Jasna ski centre is perfect for a lovely ski holiday.

The Jasna ski centre is perfect for a lovely ski holiday. It has enough slopes, fast chairlifts and excellent gondolas. It might not be comparable precisely to the Alps, but it is much more affordable. Mainly blue and red runs with a few black pistes.

beautiful, amazing views, nice lifts and long trails, but not for the begginers, even blue trails have spots were they are too difficult for the begginers, and you have no way of knowing until you get there.

Demanovska Dolina is a verly long village, so it depends...

Demanovska Dolina is a verly long village, so it depends when you are going and what you want to do. If you want to ski all day, I would recommend to find accommodation directly on the slope / under the lift, as otherwise you will have to drive with your car or with a ski bus for 20 - 30 min and you might not even fit in the bus which tends to be full. However, if your aim is not solely skiing, you might want to stay in the village, as the place for walking might be better there than on the slope. The ski area is smaller than in the usual Alpine resorts, but big enough for an intermediate skier. The prices (for the ski-pass, food and drinks) are high for the value you're getting.

Very warm welcome, thank you! Superclean, comfortable, well equipped, and excellent location for skiing or hiking including parking. All for a very reasonable price. Ski lifts are almost at the doorstep. New pool with warm water in a hotel approx 100m across the ski slope. The pool is quite expensive but includes a big whirlpool, sauna, and even sauna for kids (60 degrees) + a family pool + lovely mountain view. Excellent for relaxing in colder weather. We would be happy to return if we have a chance.

We liked how it was ski to door, the slopes were really good too! Hotel was clean, looked clean and smelt clean.. everywhere! Food was amazing.. very quick at serving!! Pool & spa were a bonus! Lady at the bar was super lovely, could have a nice chat and she made us laugh and feel comfortable.. will definitely miss her! Her homemade Lemonade was the best!! Would 100% recommend and will be retuning hopefully next year!

It was a good hotel, also the location and the possibility of having the ski bus offered by the hotel. A lot of things for children, a playground, swimming pool, and hosts to entertain the kids. Everything was nice, if I had to choose I would come back again to this hotel. The food also was good
