Perfect location hotel right next to the cable way and ski rental. ⛷ We booked the big apartment, it was almost brand new, new furnitures, new bathroom with huge shower cabin. Everywhere in the public area was lovely green tea smell. 🍃 Breakfast was very delicious. We loved this hotel! Highly recommended. 💗😊

I liked the atmosphere and the uniqueness of this hotel. Very cosy and quiet place. The staff was wonderful :) Albeit being couple of kilometres from the center, it was worth a walk. Surprising thing was a really good sauna (I'm a Finn :) )! Breakfast was really good. I was here during the beginning of summer and the weather was great so I don't know what it is like in the winter and during the skiing season. Slopes are close though. Worth the money. I recommend.

Very modern room, equipped with kitchen corner. Can park almost next to the room. The interior is really nice to see, the bathroom is beautiful and quite big compared to the price level of the room in this area. The accomodation was easy to take, did not have to wait for the landlady, it was prepared with the key. The hiking root is just 5 mins from the place, starting from the railway station or from the tunnel before the ralway station. You can sit outside the balcony comfortably. We took a small room but it had all you need and even spacious due to two reasons: 1.To spare with the space, the door of the room opens to the outside, so you can pack bags in front of the door. 2. The furniture was placed in a very well though over way. Last comment: The owners were really friendly and helpful.

Very interesting place with some really beautiful Art...

Very interesting place with some really beautiful Art Nouveau villas but you need to google nearly everything about this location - there were no information about architecture or history. Village is covered with awesome trees in park - really worth of short walk when you have some time. A definitely location with potential but it seems locals are not exactly see what tourists see as worth of attention. Interesting fact is that Lubochna is also national endocrinology center, so some buildings are reconstructed because they are probably used as a hospital facilities. We stayed here one night in Penzion Astoria and we managed to see the most important villas in approx. 2 hours of slow walk. Parking was free near the center, another parking was priced accordingly 1h/1€.

The nature trail along the Ľubochnianka stream is a relaxing...

The nature trail along the Ľubochnianka stream is a relaxing walk, the passage through the Ľubochniansky saddle to the Krpeľany reservoir is also not difficult, there is a bit of a climb, but in dry weather the trail is like a pothole and can be managed even by a less fit tourist. A passenger train runs back from Krpeľany every hour via Ľubochňa. For food, I had to buy groceries at a local grocery store.

Very nice environment, polite and homely, who will help you at any time..you can see that the pension is taken care of with love, it can also be seen in the cleanliness and tasteful furnishings..around beautiful nature with huge possibilities..

There is beautiful nature there, suitable for hiking and...

There is beautiful nature there, suitable for hiking and cycling. A nice park suitable for walks for seniors and juniors. Many patients come here to the National Endocrinology and Diabetes Institute and therefore need accommodation for one night (which was my case). You need to come a day in advance and, in addition to the examination, do some hiking in the area.
