The place has wonderful surroundings, great to have breakfast outside in the morning sun with fish jumping out of the pond. Rooms was excellent, we had enough space and everything was very clean and newly done. Breakfast was great, on the weekend buffet style with many different options, on the workday as less people we had few options to choose from for the hot that they made for each guessed separately. We also booked spa for an hour, the area is also very new, great sauna, enough space to rest, there is also a jacuzzi, which had a little too hot water for our tastes. We heard people in winter also like to jump out to the snow as you can exit the area and walk around to the pond, etc. Overall excellent place and more affordable than other places around in High Tatry.

Beautifully restored manor house adjoining a castle. We had a suite which was very spacious, three rooms with bathroom. There was a small kitchen setup with a sink and kettle in the first room, a lounge room and a huge bedroom with desk. The bed was very comfy. The place is beautifully decorated with period pieces and antiques. Wifi was very good, surprisingly considering the thick walls. We really enjoyed our stay.

There is a nice open-air museum and a good starting point for mountain hikes. There is a well-stocked coop store in the village, but it is closed on weekends. There was also no restaurant open at the time of our stay. Otherwise, it is a very quiet place.

A small, quiet village in the foothills of the Roháč...

A small, quiet village in the foothills of the Roháč Mountains. Its surroundings are well-maintained, it is clear that people care about the village, a stream flows through the middle with a beautifully landscaped area. The village has two churches, a restaurant, a shop that is open daily, and a COOP.

From the first contact with the hostess until departure, everything was perfect. After a long time, I really saw that when you do something with love, it has meaning and most importantly, it was visible. Thank you. It was exclusive.

The accommodation is located at the foot of the High Tatras...

The accommodation is located at the foot of the High Tatras with a view of Kriváň and is surrounded by beautiful forests. Nearby is the open-air museum of folk architecture Pribylina, and within driving distance is Štrbské Pleso. It is an ideal starting point for hiking in the surrounding nature or cycling trips. For this location, I recommend an electric bike for less skilled cyclists.

There is really nothing here in the village… two small shops...

There is really nothing here in the village… two small shops, a pub are all the amenities of the village. Due to the relative proximity (20-50 km) to the mountains and major tourist destinations, and the good price/value ratio of the accommodation, it is worth choosing this for families.

The village is very nice, and the cross-country skiing area...

The village is very nice, and the cross-country skiing area nearby plus the bike path are great. It's a shame that the open-air museum is only open until 2:30 PM in winter, it's not very attractive for tourists :). In winter, there is no restaurant in the village full of private houses and apartments, we had to rely on delivery.
