The hotel has recently undertaken a total renovation, which has given the hotel a great look. The roomshave been updated and looks great.The staff are amazing, very friendly, and helpful. Customer service at its best comparable, if not better than a few places in the UK where l reside. It was also very nice to see John the general manager of the hotel interacting with the hotel guests asking for improvement feedback. I was also impressed with the cleanliness standards, l observed both day and night cleaning was consistently by carried out by a group of staff. I also loved the hotel location on a hill next to the president residence overlooking the city and the sea. Both day and night, l admired the beautiful view of Freetown and the sea. The hotel has a great restaurant, and l enjoyed the buffet breakfast with a great variety of both African and intercontinental menus to choose from. Normally, l don't eat lauch or dinner at hotels l stay in, but at this hotel due to the great quality, variety and great tasing menu l changed that. My wife is normally a food critic was highly impressed and gave them her thumps up.

It was a good conversation before arrival. Sahr has us pick up at the ferry. It is difficult to find alone. But you can come to all places with KehKeh (Tuktuk). We have really enjoyed the stay by Sahr and his grandmother. Thank you so much

I've stayed in hotels and apartments in every continent but this apartment beats it all. The service is as good as a five start hotel if not better. It was extremely clean, beautifully decorated and fully equipped with everything you can possibly think of. The host and the rest of the staff provided the most wonderful service, they are available at all times for any queries and are very welcoming. The location of the apartment is perfect, right between Lumley beach and river number to beach and lakka beach. About 5mins walk from the apartment, there is a local restaurant called Treat Food, which offers the best local food. I will never stay anywhere else in Freetown anymore.

Usually there is a buffet set up. Here there is a breakfast buffet set up and you get a complete breakfast plate of food brought to your table. Excellent!

Excellent Location with a good transport link. Secure parking with a night and day guard. Very good for budgeted travellers. A compliment breakfast is served and staff are very helpful. Rooms comes with ensuite and self contained. Kitchen is shared but I didn't use this facility.

A home from home. Tucked away from the hustle of main street, perfect if you like some peace with convenience nearby. Very spacious and clean . If your looking for 5star then not the place but this is a place that you can be extremely comfortable and content if you are of a humble to content persuasion person!. It has all you need and if not the staff will positively assist. Electricity in Freetown is a hit and miss but the generators used at PhaGibs really manage a great compensation as they click in when the grid goes which is truly helpful. Air con is great and fans are supplied. Lovely views. 24hr Gatekeepers. I will surely use this facility again. Only downside is no WiFi but ask and they will supply at a fee or sort your own. Thank you Fatmata and all staff for a wonderful experience😁

Mr. Bongay is a lovely calm host. The location is wonderful between 2 amazing beaches, perfect for sunset. It's a wooden house with basic facilities, electricity and water are mostly available, comfortable bed with mosquito net. Unique opportunity to experience village life first hand.
