We stayed at Toubacouta Lodge 4 nights insted of 3 because we loved the site, the swimming pool and its breathingless view, the food and the excursions we did on the delta river and the Fathala Reserve safari.Thank you to Ibou and his team. Absolutely loved La Teranga. Ibou could not have been more helpful and his communication is excellent. The chef is outstanding, the room spotless and the security man always around. A wide selection of trips are available. The village is local and the people are very friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend a visit to anyone wanting an adventure in this fabulous part of Senegal.

We really liked the B&B in general but were especially impressed with the excursions that were offered. David gave us a guided boat tour where we visited the small nearby island towns of Sipo and Missirah and it was one of the highlights of our trip. Jenny was also very helpful with the logistics (especially because I don't speak French!) and helping me organise our time in Senegal. El Hadj is their taxi driver and we organised pretty much our whole trip throughout Senegal with him - he was fantastic. And there are a few restaurants nearby with delicious food. The breakfast offered at the B&B was delicious. Thank you!

fantastic place in a quiet peaceful location. the rooms are clean and the garden is a wonderful. the best part though is the manager Bobo. fantastic person who will help with all your trips and tours. he goes well beyond in helping and making sure you are comfortable and are enjoying your trip.
