Everything in this property was brand new and was very clean, we both really enjoyed this stay. It was very sad seeing all the stray dogs who lived next to here but we spent time with them, fed them biscuits and gave them water. They are all so friendly and just want loving so please anyone who stays here look after the dogs for me

Several good beaches.

Several good beaches. Our favorite was Tien Beach, for its beauty and big sandy beach. Also some excellent restaurants within walking distance. Well worth learning to ride a motorbike before you come.

Ko Larn is an island off the coast from Pattaya, Thailand.

Ko Larn is an island off the coast from Pattaya, Thailand. It is less developed with no global hotel chains, but a lot of the locally owned hotels and villas are comfortable and affordable. The beaches are very good and range from secluded to vibrant and bustling. Lots of choices for water sports, fishing, diving, and shopping. The local residents are generally friendly and helpful to tourists, but standard safety precautions are also important to ensure an incident-free visit. The best part of Ko Larn is the fresh seafood. It is available all over the island but best eaten on the beach in a lounge chair with a view of the ocean.

Beautiful beaches, prices all over the island good, except extreme expensive Hotels. Food fresh and good and affordable. Streets dangerous, but built very well, easy to drive, but of course must be cautious because of extreme mountainous nature. Piers good and sufficient taxis to bring you around. Nice atmosphere in evening, when sitting at the beach

So close to mainland town Puckett, and easy to get to by...

So close to mainland town Puckett, and easy to get to by ferry or fast boat. Boats leave from end of pier at Bali Hai. Ko Larn, also spelled Lan, has so many places to explore, and restaurants and coffee shops, and beaches. And the low cost is amazing. People so nice there too.

It’s a very nice little island not too far from Bangkok. What I love about it was the fact that I’ve found a typical authentic place with all the street food,for very affordable price and the kindness of the people of course with some exceptions (at the Pier when we have to get the boat we are literally treated like a herd….sad) What I didn’t like and it’s so pity is the fact that there is so much dirt (plastic bottles)everywhere,I literally took picture from each beach and even the cave and it’s so so sad that no one take care of it. In time people will stop going and without tourists they will loose a lot.Hopefully that will change.

The beaches here surpassed my expectations.

The beaches here surpassed my expectations. Sea water was transparent. The food market near the port offers delicious and cheap food. Transportations are not so easy to cope with, going around without a motorbike rented can be nearly impossible. Roads there may be too much steep to ride a motorbike. The island need more development to upgrade the living condition of local people. Anyway, people there are good, sceneries there are good.

A small family-run establishment, they don’t speak much English (like almost everywhere on the island), but they speak the language of the heart 🙏🏼. And with a smartphone, you’ll always find a way to communicate. 😉 The bungalows are tastefully furnished with attention to detail. Scooter and fuel are included in the price, and the hosts do everything they can to help and accommodate your needs as much as possible. The breakfast is excellent and prepared with love. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Highly recommend this place for anyone needing a little island getaway. The room was very cozy and clean. We also had a small terrace in front of the villa where we spent a lot of time. The pool area was a bit small but the pool itself was good sized and clean. The staff was super lovely and helpful. The breakfast was some toast, jam, eggs, sausages and fruit so at least for us, excellent. Location is also good, close to the main village and pier.

We extended our visit. The budget rooms are really small and fortunately we were able to change our reservation. The breakfast was good and had multiple choices. The hotel has amazing garden and tasty baked goods. First we came for 4 nights, but stayed for a week. The island is beautiful and the beaches are clean.
