The whole experience at Khao Lak Marriott was wonderful from the moment of arrival, parking our car, assistance with our bags, and an easy check-in. An electric buggy whisked us to our room, which was delightful, immaculately clean, with comfortable beds and bedding. The sandy beach was clean, overlooking the quiet and inviting Andaman Sea, plus the choice of resort pools allowed for some serious or playful swimming. All resort staff were exceptional, helpful, knowledgeable, and always with a warm greeting and a smile. Good buffet breakfast included in the price and wide food choice otherwise available all day at the resort. Thank you, Marriott, for a lovely stay.

Actually we took the hotel shuttle from Phuket airport to the hotel and everything was running smoothly. The driver was already waiting for us in the arrival hall wir our name and ride was smoothly. During the arrival at the hotel a welcome drink was offered to us with a refreshing towel. Pretty nice to start with. After some general introduction and the key card handover, we were guided to the hotel room. Unfortunately the room was located directly infront of the main air condition machine, which causes a lot of noise inside the room. After one short talk to the front desk lady, Jee Gin, she understood the concern and directly offered two alternative rooms in the same category. Within 2h the room was ready and we moved to the new room. We are 2 adults and 2 kids. The family room is perfectly designed for a family, even with older ones, as u can separate the kids room completely from adults. Best room design I ever seen in a hotel for families. The area of the hotel is as well super nicely designed. It has a long pool with different heights and also a kids club, which operates from 10-18 o'clock. The kids really enjoyed the time there and were happy about games, drawings etc the stuff was doing with them. The beach is awesome and completely without annoying water sport activities. Just good to relax. The beach bar play some relaxing club sounds, but not too noisy. Also you get a digital assistant for your room, which is super confident, if you need something to order or have any complains. This also worked perfect. Coming from the digital assistant to the real stuff. Especially one lady in the front desk, Jee Gin, took so much care about us. This is what you expect the treatment in a 5 star Resort to be! No matter if we had question or just want to have a chat, she always understood to take time for her guests. Sometimes the people make the difference. In our case it was her. The resort should be really happy to have her on board 👍🏻

This is a beautiful property nestled by the river. Inn, the owner of BanTonRuk was especially kind in making sure I had all the facilities. He speaks great English! He even arranged for a taxi for an unconventional and distant site-seeing. He made sure he was available for all my queries or concerns. And even offered to help over the phone if I had any need for translation! The property is not very far from the Bus station, and young travelers can reach from there by walk. But smaller tuktuks are available for cheap. There is also a mall and a petrol bunk close by.

Great hotel. Owners were fantastic, turned up with no transport and the staff let me and my friend use their personal motorbike so we could go to the shop.. After I checked out I realised I left my Apple Watch in the room. They sent it in the post to Koa Samui the same day and it arrived at my next hotel the next day. Superb customer service.

Very quiet location, need to drive to most of attractions, but it was great. No partying all night, perfect place to sleep. They had a water dispenser at each floor so you could refill the water bottle and glass water bottles in every room. The staff was kind and helpful. Would stay there again. 😊

Everything was amazing! I had high expectations, and they were exceeded on every level. Our bed was not only 9ft /2.7m!!! But exceptionally comfortable. The grounds are beautiful. Everything is pristine. The breakfast was fabulous. The staff were incredible We travelled on to Phuket... big mistake! Went for dinner to Mali - recommend it. Great value for money, at least in July.
