Everything was amazing! The room was just as shown in the photos. A very nicely designed, small hotel with everything you need. The staff is very friendly and professional. They have a lovely swimming pool for relaxing. The bathroom products were fantastic, especially the body lotion. The breakfast was very good, and throughout the day, they offer free snacks and quality tea. On our last day, they gave us a little package of snacks after checkout. They also offer free bicycles, which we used on our first day. Absolutely amazing!

The staff is very helpful. The location is wonderful: just outside Chiang Mai in a very quiet area, right on the riverbank. Absolutely amazing! The room was cosy and the bed very comfortable. We had a wonderful massage at the sap. Highly recommended. Breakfast has a good combination of western and Thai food.

I don't normally write reviews, but I had to sing the praises of Thantara and the staff. Our two night anniversary stay was made extra special, and the staff went above and beyond in all aspects. One night at dinner, I wasn't feeling well, and they packed up our evening meal and drove us back to the room. They also left a get well soon snack and water outside our door. This care and consideration was shown again the next morning when they were enquiring how I was at breakfast. The room and facilities were amazing. Using the bikes to cycle around the grounds was lovely. We rented the scooter with sidecar but didn't actually realise how small and slow it was, so I wouldn't recommend it if you wanted to explore the grounds. All in all a fantastic stay at thantara and we hope to return one day.
