Was really the most beautiful place i have ever stayed in. The clay cottages were all built and painted by hand. The attention to detail is incredible and so colorful, a real masterpiece. The owner Max is the artist and was so so kind !!! The restaurant nearby was also so good and everyone was so friendly. If you want a calm escape from Chiang Mai i really recommend staying here. I also recommend renting a car, people drive well in this area, and the roads are very good. Thank you max for having us !!! 100% recommend to anyone. 💖

If, like us, you are looking for somewhere to relax after your travels then Sela is absolutely the perfect place to unwind, just 30 mins outside Chiangmai. The building is beautiful and the staff is most welcoming and attentive. The grounds are well maintained and the good-sized pool is immaculate, with both shady and sunny spots to relax. Breakfast is varied and plentiful and Windows restaurant, open from midday, offers delicious dishes to suit all tastes. It is perhaps surprising to discover that the property was built very recently as it echos the style and grandeur of yesteryear. I’m certain this beautiful hotel will soon become a go-to destination for anyone wishing to escape the hustle and bustle of Chiangmai for the peace and quiet of the countryside. All in all this property is an absolute gem

Quiet location, spacious room, excellent shower with enough water pressure and no sudden temperature changes, good bed (Japanese futon style, so it's hard). Small fridge, a/c works well (which was necessary as my room was on the side with the afternoon sun). Laundry facilities around the corner (coin machines). Views on Doi Suthep and the green mountains. After 22:00, it is quiet in the hotel (thankfully). Ample private parking spaces. Close by the airport, ideal for a late arrival or an early departure. Excellent breakfast place just across the street. Very helpful receptionist staff with very good English.

Very warm welcome, amazing staff from the reception and support staff, very helpful and we all felt like at home. They told us where to drop off clothes for cleaning, where to go hiking, how to catch a ride. Rooms are huge, swimming pool for kids and us to relax in (they even provide towels next to the pool) and sitting area so we could play cards in the evening. Remote so it is quiet and peaceful. Would recommend it to anyone.
