Sunwing Bangtao is a gem! We loved our stay in the spacious and clean rooms, and the facilities were always well-maintained. The pools were a hit with the kids, especially the slide, and we appreciated that breakfast was included. The food and drinks at the resort were reasonably priced, and the staff were always happy to help. The towel guy was particularly knowledgeable and gave my husband great tips on the local markets. The massage on the beach were next level and for the bargain price of 300- 500 baht. The beach is beautifully kept, and the location is perfect for exploring. We can't wait to come back - this won't be our last visit! 5/5 stats!

We stayed at Blu Monkey for almost 2 weeks. Great location. Close to the beach and restaurants. Receptionist Fang did a great job taking care of us. We received free room upgrade and late checkout. The room was clean and spacious. The food was good as well. Definitely a pleasant experience.

Room for improvement to be clean and well organised to manage shops, restaurants, and massages to welcome tourists from around the world. Now is dirty not only because of trash from the waves but also on the beach with all shops - does not clean their own area. Recommend Bangtao Beach from the middle up towards the north to Layan Beach.

I always looked fwd to going down to the beach to get a great massage, free loungers & friendly people. Alot of new development happening around the area, but lots of little shops & restaurants to visit & a great tattooist - Shark tattoo Be careful of some of the taxis though, outside the supermarket they tried to charge twice the amount as they could see we were tourists. We used Grab the whole time we were there.

Not best option in Phuket, too little entertainments around, you need to go too much for markets, poor choice of restaurants around, no nice massages. Large width of beach is the only advantage More southern parts of phuket (Karon, Kata) can provide more rich and nice experience

Friday night market in Boat Avenue was great! We ate lots of delicious foods and this was our favourite night market that we have visited in Asia. Bang Tao beach is clean and in close proximity to other beaches as well.

Bang Tao is a beautiful beach and to stay in the area means...

Bang Tao is a beautiful beach and to stay in the area means that you are never very far from it. It's very quiet (compared to areas like Patong!) and I loved walking the beach at sunset to find one of the lovely beachfront bars or seafood restaurants. It's also quite an easy scooter (I use Grab) ride to Nai Thon beach which is gorgeous, with a strip of markets, shops, massage spots and more bars and cafes.

The beach was amazing; you just need to be careful during nighttime because the water starts moving forward. Along the beach, there are many cafes and restaurants. We loved the fire show in Nomad Cafe.

There are one or two major problems with the resort (see below). That said, there’s also a lot to like: - lovely staff; truly 5-star service - brand new - stylish, White Lotus vibes - the tents are high quality - heavy canvas and leather detailing; shower and toilet are hotel spec - well located for beach bars (fancy and casual) If this resort was located in the quiet of the hills, it could be an 8/9 out of ten.

Beautiful smallish resort in a perfect location 10 minutes walk to the commercial strip and Bang Tao beach. Large clean rooms with a comfortable bed and lots of storage space. Pool(s) are in a picturesque setting. Breakfast is good (typical). Staff were very friendly. This is a quiet and relaxing retreat. It is NOT one of the really large on the beach resorts.

For the price it was so good one of the best offers in Bang Tao Beach, we even wanted to stay 2 more nights but it was late when we asked so we had to move to another hotel. Pool infront of doors of your room next to hotel was restaurant wich we didnt have time to try but food looked good. Few meters is Bangtao beach or surin Beach but that was overcrowded.

This was our second time travelling to Phuket and our 2nd time staying at this hotel as well. The hotel is within walking distance from Bang Tao beach, 7-11 is next door, and many shops and restaurants. The rooms are spacious and clean. The swimming pool is great and big. The staff are really friendly.
