The property has it's own boat dock which makes arriving on and leaving the island very easy. The owner is very friendly and helpful and helps us book a boat to our next destination. Spotlessly clean, very spacious and so peaceful! I’d read reviews so knew about the hard mattress, so we took our mattress topper with us and had two very cosy, comfortable nights’ sleep. The owners were very kind and helpful despite them not speaking English and us not speaking Thai. Nice to wake up so close to nature. There was a banana tree right next to the little balcony at the back. We would definitely stay here again next time we’re in the area.

At the beginning the location may seem a lil bit off the beaten path and difficult to move around for the backpackers, but give it a try and you will be rewarded with amazing and relaxing time. The lake view cottage was clean and very comfortable. The owner Mr Bang is great - he borrowed us his fishing rod, checked the bus timing, brought some fruits etc. Soak up into this tiny village as the community there is lovely and they are the nicest and most genuine people we met in Thailand. They will share with you the 1000 smiles, make sure you go right direction or just give you the ride, give some shrimps for your fishing bait, proudly show their daily crab catch if they spot you in the kayak. Do not miss the neighbor pancakes restaurant (ca 1km walking), fisherman village and kayaking in mangrove forest. There were not so many mosquitos as people say. Just keep your door closed when the light is on and you will be really fine ;)
