It's a cool place for a getaway, not far from Bangkok with proximity to a small island, with a few tiny beaches for swimming. Hotel itself doesn't have a beach, which might be confusing given the location and the photos. The room was clean and comfy, the view was breathtaking. All in all it was quiet and relaxing. There's a mall with multiple restaurants walking distance, however, there's no side walk and the area is abandoned, so not to nice to go by foot and too close to take a taxi The breakfast is amazing!

We lived in this hotel for about a month. In terms of price/quality ratio, this is one of the best hotels in Thailand. It has everything you need for a long stay. The rooms are very cozy, with a beautiful view of the sea. The interior is designed in a marine style, the room has a small kitchen and a washing machine. Cooking utensils are available upon request. The hotel has a good gym and an infinity pool. Breakfast deserves special praise. It has a wide variety of items to suit every taste. More importantly, there are healthy food choices. I would like to convey a special thank you to the person working at the egg station. Unfortunately, we didn't get his name, but he worked almost the entire time we were there, from mid-April to mid-May. We have never seen a chef in any hotel who does his job with such quality and consistency. Thank you.

Si Racha has 2 attractions; a very nice shoreline park, and a beautiful small island (KOH LOI) connected to the mainland by a causeway. Fortunately for me it does not attract beach- and fun- loving tourists because it has no significant beach or nightlife. Therefore, the main attraction for me is that it is quite peaceful with some nice temples and walks. The people are very friendly and helpful.

I planned a week here and found enough to do. The food scene is most interesting. Affordable Japanese, Thai & seafood. Koh Si Chang was disappointing, but didnt see it all. For most travellers, a few days. Its busy, its different! Authentic Thai + Japanese culture without the commercial tourism. Make sure you have Google Translate, cash for the street & smartphone banking/credit card for the Malls.

Very friendly helpful locals. Very green and peaceful. Many choices of restaurants, bars and shopping centres. Night markets are great for cheap shopping spree and Thai Stree food. Visiting The Hidden Falls Cafe was a pleasant relaxing experience. Many local stree food place only have menus in Thai and I found Google translator extremely helpful.

A lovely - and very Thai town.

A lovely - and very Thai town. It was relaxed, and combined both older Thai areas, with more modern malls (such as Robinsons and Central). The views of the bay and town from the temple at the end of the pier (Wat Ko Loi) were excellent. There is also quite a Japanese community in town. What also made Si Racha so nice is that it is easy to make lovely day trips to places such as Ko Sichang (a real highlight - the beach was lovely and peaceful) and Bang Saen (though of those two places Ko Sichang is much nicer). I'm very pleased I visited.

My opinion has been somewhat skewed as I had access to a local friend and thus I enjoyed the benefit of local, intimate knowledge. However, that said, I nonetheless enjoyed my visits there. I have neglected to respond to item 6, below, as I did not visit the attractions.

Si Racha OK for me, I was there for familial reasons and just for daily life. But I should not recommend Si Racha for tourists: crowded, traffic, pollution; beach 30 min away by car, a lof of Japanese working people. Advantage: good street noodle shops and good japanese restaurants. Not to much night life.

The front desk staff was really professional and helped recommend some places for us to dine and visit for the evening. We loved the free tuk tuk service! Rooms were spacious and clean, beds were really comfortable. The hotel is also well located and is within walking distance to Robinson, where there was a vibrant mini food street at night.
