We stayed in this village because it was halfway between the ruins of Sardis and Ephesus. It seems to be quite a popular destination in the area. It's a very small village with numerous interesting Ottoman-era buildings. There are plenty of restaurants offering great value for money. The access roads are mountainous (if you're coming from Sardis) but in good condition with little traffic.
