Erzurum is a place for ski-holiday in Palandoken. The hotel is a 10 minute drive from the ski resort, which is perfect. Erzurum is a very traditional city in the far east of Turkey. There are really extremely nice and friendly people there. The atmosphere is very friendly and gentle.

A city with very many friendly and helpful persons whatever you do, and I felt safe all the time. I stayed only overnight twice in a week, but I will always remember how nice it was meeting other people in Erzerum as well as people on buses and trains. Yes, this goes for people in Turkey as well, way over my expectations

There isn't a lot of the old town and castle left, but what...
There isn't a lot of the old town and castle left, but what is there is worth a visit if you are going for the winter sports or for a walk in the mountains. Or even if you are there for work.
The local kebabs are excellent and there are plenty of good restaurants in the town.
Taxis are plentiful, I didn't see much in terms of public transport.

Interesting town, with major sights all located within short walking distance of each other.
A lot of cafés serving tea and snacks, but not many restaurants offering a good selection of dishes and especially difficult to find meat-free dishes. We did have one meal in a fascinating restaurant - Erzurum Evleri - located in a labyrinth of old houses and crammed with all sorts of antiques and paraphernalia associated with life in the old town. A bit like eating in a museum, but the food was good and it was an enjoyable and interesting experience.

A small city on the edge of Armenian highlands.
A small city on the edge of Armenian highlands. Lots of mosques, couple of local history museums. Friendly people, low prices, very shallow snow cover. Got some architecture, cultural, hiking, shopping, gastronomic gems here.

My second time staying here on a motorcycle roadtrip across Turkey. Great hotel, still very new, pretty high end for a reasonable price. The room is well equipped, clean and very quiet. Excellent bathroom and shower. This time my stay was without breakfast which wasn't an issue as I was leaving very early. They have a spacious garage where I could park my motorcycle which was well appreciate.

A conveniently located fine modern hotel.
Windows are perfectly soundproof to cut off all the street noise, along with blackout curtains to ensure a good sleep.
Helpful staff makes sure your stay be comfortable.
The area is quite green, with many amenities nearby, very close to the airport, bus & train stations, and max 30 min walk to all the major sights.

Accommodation is very close to the center with monuments. It is possible to park your car directly in front of the hotel and the staff is very helpful. He helped us carry our suitcases upstairs and anything we needed they were happy to help us with. We felt welcome there. Breakfast with Turkish tea was delicious and varied.

The friendly owner was very helpful and genuine, giving advice for money exchange and a great place to eat the local cap kebap. Breakfast was fresh and the local bread yummy. The hotel has had a make over and everything feels clean and well maintained. Would stay there again.

Really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is in a very central location and is of a good quality and very good value. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also excellent - lots of options, and of a high quality
