The Xanthos Boutique Hotel is conveniently located in Patara and is a perfect base to explore the wider region. The hotel itself is clean, beautiful and the swimming pool is perfect to enjoy the Turkish sun and eternal blue sky. But without doubt, what contributed most to our stay was the amazing personnel. They are incredibly friendly, always ready to help and they prepared extraordinary food. The breakfast was simply superb and we miss it already!

An absolute, hidden gem of authentic Turkish hospitality. I booked with a bit of anxiety, as the photos do not necessarily look very appealing, but the rooms and bathrooms are renovated, with efficient air-conditioning and nice decorations. The pool area is also very clean and inviting, there are multiple spaces to relax and suntan, pool towels are of course provided. But the best thing are the hosts - they greeted us as if we were their friends, long unseen, provided with useful tips and info about the area, made us feel truly at home. And oh, the food! Ayse is an amazing cook, after the first dinner we have not eaten anywhere else for the four days we spent there. So, avoid if you want to lose weight, you will not be able to with her delectable dishes 😀 Tip: the rooms on the top floor are the nicest, and the garden/pool side is the most quiet. There is a washing machine available, for a modest fee.
