Staying at Hotel Amanda felt like stepping into a scene from One Thousand and One Nights. From the moment we arrived, we were swept away into a world of elegance, charm, and quiet luxury. The architecture and decor whispered stories of distant lands and ancient beauty, with every corner more enchanting than the last. Our room — or should I say palace suite — was larger than the average home in Amsterdam, with soaring ceilings, rich fabrics, and soft lighting that made the entire space feel like a private fairytale. The pool was a sparkling oasis, especially in the golden glow of the afternoon sun. We spent hours there, floating under the sky and forgetting the outside world. The breakfast each morning was a royal feast, with fresh fruits, pastries, and local delicacies presented with care and warmth. But what truly sets Hotel Amanda apart is the service. Every staff member treated us not as guests, but as honored friends. Thoughtful, attentive, and genuinely kind — it’s rare to feel so seen and so welcome. Very passionate and friendly host. Shared a lot of information regarding what we can do at Kenting. Room full of toys. Children had so much fun. Host knows very well the worries of parents and ensures toys are properly cleaned after every stay. Soaps provided all kids friendly.

Cat at Greece is a very cozy and nice Minsu. The care taker of the minsu was super nice and friendly. Always asked we are comfortable and good with the place. And also fulfilled our request whenever we have any. I requested for a additional towel and left the minsu before she can hand me one, as I returned to the minsu late at night and she has already left so she couldn't pass me the towel. The next day she keep apologize to me for the towel. The room size was good and facing the beach which has a good view. Our room has a huge bath tub. There is also a 7-11 beside. The breakfast selection will change every alternate day. As we need to leave early on the 3rd day of our stay and did not have enough time for the breakfast, she even give us a refund. She recommended a few places of interest and eateries. She also recommended a great Sashimi place in Heng Chun with very cheap price as well as Heng Chun Night market that only operate in the weekends. Overall a very good place to stay in Kending.

The location is superb! The beach is less than 2 minutes walk away and the convenience stall is similar close by. The room was very clean and comfortable. The owners and workers were very welcoming and friendly. Lastly, the view is exceptional!

My sister and I had the most wonderful stay. The hostel is just across the street from the beach and free bicycle station. It’s quiet, with a view, spacious and very clean room and the staff were super friendly. Thank you for the early check in, it was highly appreciated!

Lovely beach town , not crowded when we were there ( low...

Lovely beach town , not crowded when we were there ( low season , not a holiday weekend- I hear the crowds can be big during holidays ) . Easy to reach by local bus from neighboring Kenting , Not a lot of eating choices other than 7-11 for a cute beach town. Another beach Baishawan one can reach via bus (number 102) —- that beach was Gorgeous , clean , great for swimming , quiet and a real treat!

Nanwan is a clean, white sand beach.

Nanwan is a clean, white sand beach. The recreation area has free restroom facilities and paid showers, a few shops selling beach gear, a few surf shops, and several restaurants + bars. Beautiful sunsets peeking over the mountains. Several of the most popular spots close on Tuesdays, though.

What can I say? I love the location, The host did not know English but had a script for English visitors, we understood each other The breakfast was pretty decent. There were noodles and coffee free throughout the day The room was clean, the hotel seemed refurbished new. Fixtures on point. And the best part..there was an elevator. This was surprising to me and older persons and those differently abled will definitely appreciate. Note: the hotel is close to eateries and 7 eleven.

Whole building was very clean and I really liked the bathroom. Hot tab was wonderful. Breakfast was delicious, highly recommend. Beach and shop were only 30 seconds from the hotel. Staffs were very helpful.

Sam was super kind and helpful. The room is super clean and provides all the amenities needed. The location is excellent, just 2min away from the beach, and easy to get to Kenting by bus.
