Stayed the night before ascending Jade Mountain (玉山). We reached fairly late and waited quite awhile for the staff to come because they had assumed we weren't coming- phone numbers given weren't reachable and we had to look around various parts of the property. Otherwise the room itself was really comfortable and the rest of the stay was great.

Great location just few minutes walk from the bus station. The meals are decent and tasty. There were some shows during our stay, provided a bit of entertainment. We have good time there.

Dafong Hotel is just a 10-minute walk from Alishan Railway Station, where restaurants serving traditional Taiwanese delights reside. It also offers free WiFi access and private parking.
