A nice hotel in a great location to explore the Alishan mountain ranges. The room was clean and comfortable, with an electric blanket, which is very nice! The Internet was stable, and the rooms were soundproof. The hot water got fast quickly and there was access to boiling water and drinking water. ALISHAN is amazing and I would 100% recommend visiting! This hotel is close to the park entrance and also to the first railway station, and the shops and restaurants, it came with a breakfast buffet voucher which was delicious!

We love everything here. From the free shuttle, the friendly staff who recommended us how to explore the place with less climbing walk, for their excellent service making sure their guests have a comfortable stay (making us felt so privileged) and a fantastic experience at Alishan, free tea near lobby area to make sure guests keep them warm, room is spacious and spotless clean, the roof top observation deck is really good (you can see sky clouds, sun set, we even got to see shooting stars) there. Good breakfast and dinner.

The family at the tea farm were so friendly and welcoming, and we had the best food here in our whole trip to Taiwan. It is only 15 minutes drive from the forest railway and there were lots of hiking trails nearby. The room was basic but fine, with a large shared lounge area. we were there when the weather was cold and there was a heater we could use.

Excellent hotel experience ... stayed in 2 hotels in Japan and 3 in Taiwan in this trip...all average above 800 AUD per night.... this one is probably the best... Nice pool Semi buffet at this altitude is very good
