The Staff are best in the area Andrea helping you with tours/ practicals & Suma in the restaurant with a bright smile always. The food is perfect with the most affordable prices, and quality in the area. The owner cares a lot about the guests helping in any way possible to offer best experience for the guests. We were offered cold ginger orange drinks coming to the hotel, and the check in and check out was fast and smooth. You can get Taxi service by contacting the Hotel in advance. You have access to one of the beatiful beaches in Zanzibar with sea view and marvelous sunrise+sunsets. Its possible to take walk along the long beach of Uroa. What an absolute gorgeous gem of a hotel in Stone Town. Truly authentic building and decor and incredible bedrooms. I stayed in the ‘Kate’ room which was utterly delightful. Beautiful private terrace overlooking the town, enormous bedroom (beautifully decorated) and an open-air bathtub adjoining. Super private. Gorgeous to wake up in the morning and open the doors and feel the breeze filter through. Beautiful bed linen and towels (woven locally) and handmade soaps. If you are into aesthetics, then this is the place for you. I can’t say enough to rate the hotel. All the staff were absolutely delightful and super attentive (as a single female traveller it was very much appreciated). The Manager was extremely kind and friendly. Also organised a fantastic private tour of the town for me which was brilliant. The rooftop restaurant is to die for. The best, authentic and freshest of food I have ever eaten.The taster plate experience with sunset and cocktails was dreamy. Amazing views and ambiance. Didn’t want it to end! The Secret Garden restaurant is also absolutely worth a visit. I attended on a Friday evening when there was live music being performed. Truly magical. Again, the food was just amazing and the staff all super kind.
