*A Peaceful Paradise with Purpose* Palmera Zanzibar is a serene oasis just outside a charming village. I loved the peaceful garden, the spotless infinity pool, and the magical ocean views—especially at sunset. The food was creative, delicious, and all homemade (including fresh breads and cakes!). My room was beautifully decorated, with a comfy bed, sea view, and solar-powered AC—much appreciated in the heat! What makes Palmera truly special is its mission: it’s part of the More Than A Drop Hospitality College, training underprivileged girls for careers in hospitality. The staff and students were incredibly kind, attentive, and made me feel safe and welcome. Highly recommended—for both the experience and the amazing cause behind it.

The property is idyllic, the staff are great and there is plenty to do- free bikes, paddle boards, sunset yoga… Shaib made the best mojitos 🍹and it is a short walk to Salaam cafe to swim with turtles

Very cool palm huts with bathroom and terrace to enjoy the sea view. Lovely garden, direct access to small but lovely beach all you need for perfect holiday! The staff is very attentive and helpful, the breakfast is delicious but also you can order very tasty local food. Sandrine helped us to organize transfer and to rent scooter. Merci!

Everything this place is a hidden gem, the place is super nice, clean and the food is extraordinary. You will definitely be back for chef aly, and the staff was amazing, fatma was great great help. the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen on Zanzibar and I visited the whole island, wonderful climate for a few days max. it is worth coming for two nights to feel the wild and boutique atmosphere of the place. you can take beautiful pictures, spend time peacefully and pleasantly among nature and wild animals.

Great location with beautiful views in quiet fishing village. Comfortable beds, huge bathroom, very clean. Beautifully maintained garden and villas. We loved the food in the restaurant, all the seafood dishes were super fresh and very tasty. Their curry and pilau were super good too. We didn't try any of meat dishes but being on Zanzibar you can't expect a wide range of them. We liked the breakfast options too. The massage I got there was amazing, I strongly recommend it. We liked the staff as well, very friendly and professional.

This place is a gem! A new hotel with a big heart, right by the ocean, surrounded by peaceful gardens and a stunning pool. The rooms are spacious and stylish, the breakfast is fresh and delicious, and very friendly staff.
