A very nice, simple hotel. Well located close to some restaurants, clean and spacious rooms. For the price, an excellent choice. A bit slow internet in the room.

We had a wonderful stay. Very clean and cozy room in a quiet surrounding, but not far from the centre. Nice terrace with a view. Great hospitality. Aika helped us to organise our onward tickets and even prepared lunch boxes for us because we had to leave before breakfast. We had very good conversations and got good travel tips. We totally can recommend Aika‘s place! Thank you so much, Aika!

We booked Hidden Valley Backpackers for a break in a busy holiday schedule and it proved perfect. The neighbourhood was quiet, not too far a walk from Iringa centre and the staff were friendly and helpful. The on-site bar and pool room was a great place to hang out in the evening and it served a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. It was also a great base from which to explore local sights such as the rock paintings at Igeleke and the stone pillars at Isimila. Highly recommended and great value for money.

It was honestly a spectacular stay, we arrived and were checked in with no issues. Had a great breakfast and when it was time to go Winnie and Gaston made sure we were on the right busses at the right times. We had some excellent conversations over fruit and in the hallways. It is a (max) 25 minute walking distance from plenty of cafes and restaurants in town. Honestly incredible hospitality. We went back for a second stay after our Safari!
