The Staff are best in the area Andrea helping you with tours/ practicals & Suma in the restaurant with a bright smile always. The food is perfect with the most affordable prices, and quality in the area. The owner cares a lot about the guests helping in any way possible to offer best experience for the guests. We were offered cold ginger orange drinks coming to the hotel, and the check in and check out was fast and smooth. You can get Taxi service by contacting the Hotel in advance. You have access to one of the beatiful beaches in Zanzibar with sea view and marvelous sunrise+sunsets. Its possible to take walk along the long beach of Uroa. I had a wonderful experience at this hotel, starting with a warm welcome from Kadogo. Her exceptional service and constant kindness truly made my stay unforgettable. Her smile and positive energy filled the hotel, and I’m grateful for the joy and happiness she brought. The hotel itself is beautiful, with top-notch service across the board. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all fantastic—delicious and varied. The rooms were spacious, pristine, and thoughtfully designed, with attention to every detail. I especially appreciated the evening touch where they would spray a mosquito repellent and prepare the bed for the night. A big thank you to Abdullah and all the staff for making my stay perfect. If you're visiting Paje, I highly recommend staying here—it will be a memorable experience!

I enjoyed my stay completely at The Garten, and what I did like most their Boho room design, semi outdoor shower and the cozy mood at Night, their breakfast and front office attendance was up to the standards, the rooms was cool at night after we knew they are using their Generator system in order to supply good electricity system, for sure we will return back their and have more time to play with the Adorable Dog Brownie.

What can we say about Mahi Mahi? We will never forget the four beautiful days and nights we spent there. Perfect, peaceful location, away from the crowds. Near the village, where you can go around exploring on foot (do it & support the local community!!) Stunning view of the ocean, delicious food, abundant breakfast and very good choices for lunch or dinner - prices of the restaurant more expensive than what you find in local restaurants nearby but still quite affordable. All of the dishes delicious - congratulations to the chef, who btw took the time to come and meet us :) I tried the "chef's special" everyday during breakfast :). Clean, spacious rooms, you wake up and sleep hearing the sound of the sea. Now THAT is a memory to hold on to during winter. Amazing service - thank you Sifa, Skola (special thanks for the on-the-go Swahili lessons to my wife) Justin, Ilias, and I'm SO sorry I forget the names of all the other nice people that made our stay so wonderful, we thank you all! This was a beautiful place to stay, we spent 7 nights here and loved every minute of it. The property is a short 2-3min walk from the beach. The rooms are large and well furnished with all the basics you would find in a normal hotel/B&B in Europe. The bathroom is very big and the water pressure is really good. Hot water comes on quickly. The bed may be slightly on the firm side, but this didn’t bother us. The next best thing is the food! Breakfast is copious and delicious, but all the other meals are also very well prepared. Everything is fresh and tasty.
