The swimming pool was lovely, It was very close to the Nungwi Beach and lots of restaurants around and they had fun events in the hotel too. Staff were extremely polite and friendly, always checking to see if I was okay. Then the food…absolutely the best for me. Lizzy at the spa was an absolute delight. Mo at the reception was very very helpful too.

If you’re looking for the perfect getaway, please don’t hesitate, book this lovely resort. Perfect for solo Travellers… Max is extremely extremely kind and his team as well. I went alone but felt very safe, everything was beautiful, from the service, to the rooms, extremely clean, AC in the room works perfectly. I really miss staying there and will have to come back for a longer stay next time. Thanks Babalao team for making my trip unforgettable. One of the highlights is the on-site café, where the food is simply fantastic—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The menu will not disappoint. The staff are exceptional—friendly, helpful, and always with a smile. Their positive attitude and attention to detail make you feel truly welcome. The owner of hotel made our stay in Zanzibar truly special. He was incredibly helpful, kind, and friendly, always making sure we had everything we needed. His local knowledge and willingness to share tips and experiences about Zanzibar made our trip even more enjoyable. He also helped us arrange excursions and taxis. One of the best features is the access to owners another hotel just 1 km away along a beautiful beach, where guests can enjoy a swimming pool, a great restaurant, and lively parties. If you’re looking for a peaceful, well-designed, and hospitable place to stay right by the stunning Nungwi Beach, Dhow Boutique Hotel is the perfect choice. Highly recommended!

It's a really cozy hotel. The owner and the staff are excellent. The food was great. Angelina was there for us to answer any question and assist us. A special thanks to Jafari the bartender and Simon the chef who showed us the night life in Nungwi. We had a really good time at your bungalows. I hope we visit you again.

Mykonos vibes in Zanzibar:). Very beautifully decorated and You really feel like in paradise. The staff at the reception and the restaurant are really nice! Very kind and friendly! The room was so clean and the linens smelled very nice. Really good food quality in the restaurant, very well cooked and super tasty! The breakfast was so so so good and fresh. Beach and all shorts of local stores/restaurants within a couple of minutes walk. Super location!

i honestly cannot express how perfect everything was. From the lovely staff to the service to going extra and beyond. I can’t thank you all enough and wil definitely recommend this to everyone and me and my wife will definitely come back. It was 20/10 absolutely spot on.
