The hotel staff is very welcoming, specifically Mr Erick, and the man who wears traditional zanzbar clothes was very welcoming .The staff in all kitchens are clean and smiling to the guests and jokes with us which makes our stay more fun 😁 The housekeepers are clean and nice .

Tranquil Location! A very calming experience throughout my short stay. Honestly I dont know what should I write. We were here for four days and we really enjoyed everyone of them. We were surprised by the the room and by the whole building,it was beautiful and it looked like new. Host and his staff they were incredible,perfect,nice and we miss you already. Our room has side seaview and in the evenings we were relaxing outside or at the terrace. Bed was perfect for us. We have to say that we had best breakfast so far,everyhnig was fresh, and the fruit...so sweet. You are eating your breakfast at the terrace,you are looking at the sea-what more you can imagine :) At 17.00,its the tea-time, that means you get spicetea with sweet snack and I have no more words:) perfect House is right at the beach,with private sunbeds,few steps to the sea. You can go for a walk to left or right side of the beach. Nearby restaurants on the left or right side of the beach. We choose Ayla beach house,as it have just few rooms so we could have peaceful and relaxing stay in Kiwengwa-and it was perfect choice. Nice house,very nice and friendly people-if we go to Zanzibar again,we will go to Ayla beach house for sure.

Kiwengwa is an amazing place , only annoying this is the amount of African people that hassle you on the beach - men dressed as masi that are not from the the masi Maru tribe ( pretending they are ) and annoying you when you trying to enjoy a peaceful walk it is over bearing and no one wants that on their holiday - was most beaches in Zanzibar !!

This hotel was absolutely Lovely - a quiet peaceful corner in Zanzibar. While it’s cold in Europe, here was incredible temperature. Rooms and territory was clean and well-maintained. Smiling, positive and always helpful staff. We received welcome drinks upon arrival - those where big coconuts decorated with flower. Restaurant had a big choice and the food was amazing! It was a short stop, but I’ll definitely come back here because I’m planning to visit Zanzibar again! Karibu sana!

Our 3 night stay in white dream was perfect. It is a small intimate hotel, beautifully designed and the staff was exceptionally nice and helpful. The pool is a big plus as the tide is sometimes capricious. Restaurant was very good and the menu offered various choices, we ended up having all of our meals there. We were not sure about staying in kiwengwa because the beaches are not as dreamy as in Nungwi or Paje but we did not regret for a second our stay in this peaceful haven.

Thank you Z-Lodge Hotel for a special vibe and excursion experiences in Zanzibar - it was unforgettable and very emotional stay. Lack of ocean during tides did disturb me before coming, but 2-3 hours of high tide time was enough to swim in the ocean every day. Delicious dishes and cocktails at the restaurant was very important part of vocation. Shortly- Happy with my choice.

Very cozy hotel with amazing and very friendly staff and hosts. The room was very spacious with clean linens and good pressure in the shower. Breakfasts were amazing and here they can make good espresso as well. The swimming pool and some shadows around it could really provide some rest from the hot weather conditions on Zanzibar.
