Fantastic place, vey airy, gigantic room, lots of space in common areas, super nice swimming pool, electricity 24/7 (thanks to solar panel), owner/manager is on site and a very nice fellow. Food at the restaurant is very tasty at excellent price. In my opinion this is the best place around (and excellent value for money)

Kizikula is nothing short of magical. The design throughout the entire property is intentional and beautifully thought-out, from the elegant rooms to the stunning pool. The size of the property makes it feel personal, and it’s so well looked after. The team made our stay unforgettable. Shaib is the best barman and barista, making every drink and coffee with such care. Norice gave us the warmest welcome and made us feel at home right away. Enoch always greeted us with a big smile, and Mary took such good care of us the whole time. The entire place is impeccably maintained, showcasing the care and pride that goes into every corner of Kizikula. This is more than a stay—it’s an experience, and I can’t wait to return!

It’s a really nice off the grid place. The Maasai Warriors work to serve food for breakfast and other meals which is very authentic. it’s a very nice location with walking distance to other beaches where you can do scuba diving and just enjoy the local vibe. The local food is very nice and breakfast is good.

- the hotel is located outside the village, so you can enjoy the birdsong and peace (you can walk to the village in 15 minutes by road, or 10 minutes by the beach when the tide is low. Nearby you can find unique restaurant Stonne Village). - there are countless sunbeds, hammocks, swings on the hotel territory, so everyone will find their perfect place. - reggae vibes everywhere. A real paradise for Instagrammers. - absolutely delicious breakfast (especially fruit and pancakes). - some of the comments I read before I booked stated that the hotel has no beach and swimming area. Nonsense. When the tide is high, you can take the steps down into the water, just wear water shoes because there are rocks at the bottom. The water is calm, warm and extremely clear (unlike the Kiwengwa I visited later). - pool! - friendly staff. To recap: I spent a week at Promised Land Lodge, then stayed at another hotel in Kiwengwa village. And I must admit that the week in Kizimkazi was incomparably more impressive. The views are breathtaking, everything here is like a work of art. Moreover, Kizimkazi has fewer tourists than, for example, Kiwengwa. And people here are much more nicer with wider smiles. I will definitely come back here!

The staff and manager were incredibly helpful, nice and tried their hardest to make us feel welcome. Restaurant has a pretty decent selection of multiple cuisines and everything is tasty, especially their cake! The hotel is located on first line with direct exit to beach. Perfect for watching sunset with a nice cocktail! We had a special reason for our trip, and they went on extra lengths to make our stay special. Definitely would stay here again!

Everything about Aya Beach Resort feels like a dream. The setting is absolutely marvellous, the staff is super welcoming and adorable, the service is great and the food very good too. We loved the location for diving and fishing, it was perfect! We also enjoyed the peacefulness of the place.

The selection and quality of meals were exceptional. Leaving very early and got our breakfast at 4.30 AM - we appreciated it! The pool was clean, no complaints. The Zumba lecture with Lukman was great - should be announced more, we found the only announcement in the daily plan in our room. We liked the cocktail menu in the beach bar.
