We had an incredible stay at infinity beach. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and hospitality by the owners Tomas and Maggie, who went above and beyond to ensure we felt completely at home. Their kindness and attentiveness made our stay unforgettable! The hotel itself is a work of art. Every detail was carefully designed to reflect a unique modern yet antique aesthetic. The rooms were spacious, elegantly designed, and offered incredible views of the beach and the semi Olympic sized pool, allowing us to wake up to the sound of the waves every morning. The food was another highlight of our stay. Every meal was delicious and the friendly, attentive wait staff made dining a lovely experience each time. Infinity Beach is a place that captures your heart. We left feeling like we got everything we needed from this stay and with a strong desire to return. If you're looking for a luxurious, intimate getaway in Zanzibar, this is the perfect place to unwind.

Wonderful breakfast with fruits eggs. toast or pancakes. The dinner was also excellent.The chef takes care of all the details on the plate. The Hotel a swimming pool and very cozy space to take breakfast or relax. The beach is exactly next to the Hotel. The Hotel even has bicycles to rent for a walk witch i recommend. I had a wonderful stay at Mambo Paradise. The atmosphere was relaxing, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the overall vibe of the hotel made it easy to unwind. The staff were friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile, which made me feel at home right away. The location was perfect for a peaceful getaway, yet close enough to enjoy everything around. Location: right next to the Matemwe beach. We loved having breakfast at the beautiful balcony of our King Suite, which overlooked the pool, the beach and the sea outside. Overall setting: meticulously designed with great taste. The room, poolside, restaurant and other facilities were all very well designed to create the perfect vibe for us to wind down and chill. Food: very delicious, which was so important because we were eating all our meals in the restaurant throughout the 4-night stay. The food and cocktail were amazing, definitely on par with the best high-end hotel restaurants we tried in Stone Town. And we felt so assured trying out all their cocktails and cold drinks after seeing them make ice with bottled water! Staff: the people here were the jewel of the crown. We expected the service to be good, but never thought it would be this good... The staff were not only very nice and attentive to our needs, they were extremely friendly, in the most literal sense! You can see that they sincerely enjoy chatting with you, getting to know you and sharing with you their language and culture if you're interested. They seemed truly happy on their job, which made us feel like they were a bunch of friends around taking care of us and having fun together with us. On the last day of our stay, we felt so bad having to leave these friends and this charming tropical paradise... We will always remember the warm, sincere and friendly smiles of Hugo, Juma Combo and Halima. Thank you so much for giving us such wonderful memories on our honeymoon. Asante sana. Tutaonana!

You can easily arrange dolphin watching and swimming tours – look for Captain Lucho, he helped us with everything and made the experience amazing. A beautiful and relaxing place to stay!

Matemwe was nice - the beach part.

Matemwe was nice - the beach part. Sad to see the poverty behind the gates of the hotel. The tides were a bit different from what we have expected as the water would leave the beach at 9am and return around 5pm. If you did not make it to swim early in the morning, you missed it. We took a reef walk which was beautiful, saw a lot of see creatures, and that was very amazing experience. Also took a boat tour to see the sunset - it was worth the trip. Did not like how the locals would just stop on the beach and start shouting at you to buy smth. Also the part of the hotel beach is not segregated in any way, which does not give you a privacy enough. The food was amazing though - the hotel goes much beyond - and all day brekfast concept was amazing.

Matemwe is ideal for relaxing and spending quality time with friends and family. Matemwe is near Mnemba island 🏝️ for swimming with dolphins 🐬 . We rode bicycles 🚲 around the village and the place felt very safe. There are few alternative places for lunch or dinner. Not too far from stone town.

The snorkeling was a true adventure, with well-protected marine life and crystal-clear water. Spotting the dolphins was an unexpected bonus! Visiting the sea turtle rehabilitation center and feeding them was a special experience.

Matemwe beach was huge and totally uncrowded - some days we...

Matemwe beach was huge and totally uncrowded - some days we were lucky to see 10 - 20 people pass by! Loved the Massai beach hawkers - friendly and laid back happy to have their pictures taken - no hassle or relentless chasing - once told 'no' they respected our space. Recommend a day trip to Nungwi for a completely different vibe and fantastic sunset. Matemwe is somewhat isolated and if you want to get around you need to secure the number of a local taxi driver - always bargain hard beforehand. Most hotels organise trips/tours but at a premium.

It was a quieter beach which was nice which also meant not...

It was a quieter beach which was nice which also meant not too many people hassling you to buy things. Those that did were respectful. Beach is nice but the sea depth is very shallow most of the day so swimming wasn't the easiest and there was a lot of seaweed when we were there.

This is a beautiful boutique style hotel. The staff is very friendly. The beach setting and the rooms are beautiful but the best is the food. We had half board and there were always delicious choices on the menu board. It's not the cheapest place but the food is fresh, nicely spiced, altogether the best food we have had during our stay in Tanzania. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Its also a good choice if want to be close to the dive schools. They provide free pick up from the hotel.

1000/10. This is incredible place. You will not regret it. Calm place, beautiful interior design, warm and kind hotel staff, really helpful manager, the best beach - wide and clean, two swimming pools, yummy food, comfy beds, yoga classes! I was in many hotel around the world and I am rather picky but this place should have the rate closer to 10 for sure! I liked it so much that I decided to come back here for a second stay. In Matemwe - the best place to stay for a couple of nights!

Great location, directly at the most beautiful beach of Zanzibar. Very large infinity pool and plenty of other pools to swim and play in. A lot staff and all very friendly. A lot of activities to choose from. Yoga with Sachin is really incredible, he is one of the best yoga teachers I have ever met. He will offer 2-3 group classes as well as 1:1 training on demand. Yoga and was my main activity during my stay :-) The live cooking event at the Asian restaurant was amazing too.
