Truly enjoyed the pristine beach and the laid back nature of the place. Totally enjoyed several meals at Fish Restaurant which were absolutely delicious. I tried Kingfish, Changu, Perch, White Snapper, Prawns etc. The seafood was phenomenal. We also enjoyed seeing the turtles and the artwork at several curio shops. It is the farthest tip of the island...about 1:20 taxi drive. Next time, I would stay on the blower east side where there are villages and hotels. But for first time Nungwi was lively offering many activities.Guest review byrosalie - 10.0
The staff are exceptional.
The staff are exceptional. They are intentional about hospitality, constantly checking if everything is okay and responding instantly to any requests I had. The resort was amazing and looked after to perfection. Nothing was to much trouble and absolutely everything was provided for. The beach was very safe and clean and the ocean clear and warm. Plenty of water sport activities to choose from and of course security around but not over facing. Perfection. Ahmed and team were so friendly and accommodating, they really put in a huge effort to ensure you have a good stay. Would particularly recommend the deluxe rooms as these were noticeably better and had a lovely chill out area with swing seats. Breakfast is different on each day of the week, more varied than anywhere else we've been in zanzibar. Very comfy sunbeds by the pool. Helena, the owner, was very supportive and gave us good recommendations to our trip in Zanzibar. We booked 2 nights a room with a fan. Because it was too hot, we asked to be upgraded to a room with AC and we just paid the difference. The breakfast was decent it includes fruits, eggs, coffee, and a piece of cake.
