I stayed 6 nights in Zanzibella all alone and almost didn’t leave the hotel because that’s how good it was! I had a nice peaceful garden view out of my room. I had breakfast every morning and for me it was enough options not to get tired of it for 6 days ) the pool was just amazing , that’s where I spent most of the time tanning and swimming over to the bar to get a fresh coconut or virgin passion fruit mojito 🥥 the whole hotel area is really large and very instagrammable! I was taking pictures on every corner ! One day I booked a massage and it was one of the best I ever had in my life ☺️ after the massage they let me use the jacuzzi which was just amazing ☺️ in the evenings I also enjoyed laying in the hammock and reading my book 📖 Every evening I had dinner at the hotel , they had a nice variety of food, I mostly went for Italian cuisine and it was delicious (especially tortellini). And by the way, they delivered the food very quickly) The staff from the receptionist to waiters and housekeeping was all super friendly and helpful ☺️ I also really liked 24/7 security, made me sleep peacefully)) I’m really happy I chose to spend my vacation in this hotel and if you’re looking for a place to forget you have a job and just disconnect, this is the right one 🌴

We had a great stay at AVO Boutique Hotel. All people are extremely friendly and helpful. Great location directly at the beach; quite area, i.e. beach feels like a private beach. Great service, good food at reasonable prices.

I was at the resort 15-22 May 24 which was off peak season and it was perfect. I opted for full board so breakfast and dinner were included in the price of the stay. Breakfast was buffet that includes egg station (yay for custom omelet every morning) and always had fresh fruit among other things. Dinner during low occupancy was a menu with some options for starter, Main and dessert that changed from one day to the next. I thought this was a fun way to choose my dinner and customize my dining experience. When the hotel had more occupancy, dinner was a buffet with several different meal options. The food was always delicious! There is a mango, avocado, shrimp salad on the pool bar menu; you MUST try it. Resort offers free wifi that was strong and reliable throughout my stay. The staff was very responsive and always looking to ensure you were satisfied and had what you needed. I went to adjust one of the pool chairs and it ‘broke’ and there was a staff member there in 30 seconds to get me another chair. Francis worked most of the days of my stay and was so friendly and offered wonderful customer service. The hotel has a spa and I took full advantage! Michi is awesome, the prices were reasonable and I was able to make multiple appointments because it was quiet at the resort. There is a small gym on site but I chose to walk in the mornings; the road outside the resort is calm and people in the town are very friendly.

Visited the place for the second time. I really enjoy the intimacy of the place. Small destination, with only few villas / rooms. Great personnel and beautiful decorations. Very good food.

Marafiki Bungalows is located on the beach in Kiwengwa,overlooking the ocean.Zanzibar International Airport is a 1 hour drive away.

Location is wonderful! The beach is beautiful, not too many annoying "beach boys ". You can feel here like you were alone. Really, paradise hotel! All rooms are in bungalowes, so you have your private space or even private pool.
