A picturesque village between the mountains.

A picturesque village between the mountains. There is something to see: 10 museums located in one place, ancient wooden churches, Synevyr National Park. What I didn't really like: the road without markings and road signs. It is simply dangerous to drive in the dark.

There were not enough restaurants.

There were not enough restaurants. The crocuses we had come for were gone by early April. Local residents said that the crocuses had appeared a week or a half before our arrival. You should go to Kolochava in March to see the crocuses. You can only get there by private transport or taxi! But overall, it's a pretty good village, the locals, the views, the nature.

Kolochava is described in many tourist guides as a village...

Kolochava is described in many tourist guides as a village with a bunch of museums, although honestly, it seems as if they simply brought a bunch of useless junk from all over Transcarpathia and started charging visitors money to view this garbage.

The area in the village of Kolochava offers many...

The area in the village of Kolochava offers many opportunities to spend time: routes to the mountains of varying difficulty and landscapes (mountain ranges, lakes, virgin forests, ravines), museums, eco-parks, colorful inhabitants, mushrooms, berries, etc. In my opinion, this is a top location in Ukraine.

The village of Kolochava at first glance seems calm and...

The village of Kolochava at first glance seems calm and picturesque (it is located among the mountains). There is an open-air museum (I recommend visiting, interesting houses with history, green area). It is easy to get everywhere by car (I did not explore the village on foot due to lack of time), and there is something to see. I recommend visiting Lake Synevyr (you can even walk around it on foot along a quiet path), and the road to it is wonderful.

We loved it. We stayed for two days.

We loved it. We stayed for two days. We were able to buy homemade feta cheese and homemade processed cheese. We made a deal with the neighbors, and they sold us some excellent home-grown apples. It's not far from Synevyr. There's plenty to see in the town itself. But keep in mind, you can't pay by card: they require cash everywhere, and you can't even transfer money between cards. There are hot tubs for bathing.
