The service and retail situation are very disappointing.
The service and retail situation are very disappointing. The entire beach on the camp spit is taken over by local "recreation centers," making it impossible to access unless you're staying there. The beach on the Black Sea coast is wild, but very pleasant—fine sand, clean, and few people.

A three-day vacation is quite sufficient.
A three-day vacation is quite sufficient. The city has few attractions. If you're only going to the sea, this vacation is for you. We tried to walk to the pier, but after the rain, all the clay was soggy and the approach was simply terrible. The bus station is clean and tidy, the taxi drivers are polite, and there's a large ATB in the center. The Kruchi in the photo is 6 km from Ochakov itself.
