Beautiful location by the crater lake with stunning views. The lodge has a cozy wooden atmosphere, spacious and well-decorated rooms, and excellent food. Since we were the only guests, we received a lot of attention from the staff, who were incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming, making the experience even more special.

Peter and his staff were lovely and so very helpful. Peter tersely went out if his way to help me with a permit for the Chimpanzee tour. They support the local human wildlife coexistence activists who come and put on a beautiful performance. The food was DELICIOUS. I had dinner by the fire. Great service. Lovely setting and grounds.

This is a little slice of paradise, I could have stayed forever. Really peaceful and tranquil, beautiful views over the lake with great swimming. The food was also good! Would highly recommend staying here

The rooms were new, spacious and clean. Staff were lovely and welcoming, especially Claire and Maureen. Chef Chris was welcoming and food yummy. Lovely gardens.

Chef Assumpta makes the most lovely dishes you can imagine. She is smiling all day long and took us to the local pub. All other staff had the same smile and took time for a talk or walk with you. Having the school on the same property gave another dimension to our stay.

We had such a lovely stay at Kibale Eco-Home. Bruce and the family where so friendly and did the utmost to make it a pleasant stay for us. Good food and comfortable bed and shower. When we had problems with our car after the check-out, before our chimp-trekking, Bruce made sure we could make it and arranged with our car-rental company that it would be solved. Very greatful for this kind assistance!

beautiful setting above tea fields about 15 minute drive from fort portal. nice rooms with comfortable beds and amazing hospitality. the owners are incredibly nice, patient, and helpful in any way you need. great value for the money and very good people running this establishment.
