FAQs about hotels in Albuquerque

Up in the Air

Albuquerque is the biggest city in New Mexico in the USA and home to the International Balloon Fiesta during October. Rich in history, this beautiful destination has Pueblo Revival-style architecture with Sandia Mountains in the background.

Popular from the Bugs Bunny cartoon phrase, ‘I knew I should’ve taken that left turn at Albuquerque’, this metropolitan place is crossed by the Rio Grande River. Travellers should not miss the city’s old town with the 18th-century buildings, narrow streets and cosy restaurants serving Mexican dishes.

Lush in greenery, Albuquerque features the Rio Grande Botanic Garden and the Rio Grande Zoo. You can take the Sandia Peak Tramway and enjoy the panoramic views of the city, the mountains and the surrounding areas.

The Albuquerque International Sunport is located 6.3 km away and serves Albuquerque and Santa Fe. Booking.com will help you find the right hotel, motel or inn in Albuquerque and the nearby towns of Rio Rancho, Mesa Village and Alameda.

After staying for a while, I noticed a strong odor of cleaning detergent in the room, which gave us headaches. Later, I spotted a small cockroach inside. When we returned from dinner at a nearby Thai restaurant, we were shocked to find not just one, but several cockroaches roaming around the room in search of food. It became clear that the strong detergent smell was likely an attempt to mask or control the pest issue. Honestly, management should consider using mothballs or a more effective pest control method instead. We didn’t sleep well that night—I was terrified that a cockroach might crawl into my bed or even into my ear. I ended up wearing headphones while sleeping just to feel a bit safer. The next morning, I woke up at 8 AM to check out and stopped by the breakfast area. I noticed the staff having a difficult interaction with a guest, and I genuinely felt bad for them. It must be tough dealing with such situations daily. We left a tip in the room and checked out. I’m not sure if I’ll be booking a room there again anytime soon.

I travel through Albuquerque in 1972. This was a road trip to Taos and Santa Fe. So glad I got to truly see more this time, however, I need more time to enjoy the sights, food and good folks of your city. Truly the Land of Enchantment.

We were visiting my stepson for his birthday and decided to enjoy not only his company while in Albuquerque, but he also took us on a road trip to various cities beyond. While in Albuquerque, we did have several meals and cocktails around Old Town and downtown.

Very hot days but nice evenings in August.

Very hot days but nice evenings in August. I liked walking around Old Town which is only about 11 minutes from the hotel. I enjoyed taking the tram up to Sandia Peak and hiking around. Much cooler up there! My hotel room was comfortably cool to return to on that hot day. I like the free water bottles at the check-in counter too.

It's a beautiful city, but a bit to scary to walk with family on the streets, extremally to many homeless people and drugs left and right. Its very sad The tourism department needs to step up and work with the city to remove this from the streets.. Every city has this issues but Albuquerque is extremely bad You can see people doing drugs on the side walks, no matter what street . Very sad.. Where is the city officials..or police..

Me and my family have always stayed at this hotel most of our trips, it's a beautiful place, I love the suites because I have a grandson and he likes his privacy as we all do, We just love the hotel along with friendly customer service. Although, the hot breakfast is no longer there at lease something is there for breakfast. Thank you for that, we really enjoyed our time there. Thank you 😊✨❤

Lovely, very interesting older building (with a past!) and fun place to stay. Our one bed apartment was large and comfortable, with a well equipped kitchen area, and was decorated with lots of memorabilia from its late Victorian heyday. We took advantage of the free late afternoon beer on offer in the wonderfully over-the-top re-purposed old trolleycar and really enjoyed it, with the lovely hostess looking after us very well. The beer (brewed on site) tasted great too. Only 15 minutes walk to Albuquerque Old Town.

Friendly staff, location (close to the event I was attending, as well as to Old Town and Sawmill restaurants), the small-but-sufficient gym, full cable TV channels. As a foreigner visitor without a car, all those were very pleasant

Cool, kitschy place, about a 15 minute walk to old town, 9 minute drive to downtown. Great food truck-like popup restaurants, cool decor, nice (but shallow) and relaxing pool.
