FAQs about hotels in Baltimore

Historic & Vibrant Harbor Town

Energetic and complex, Baltimore belongs to the select group of historic cities along the east coast of the United States. Located between Washington D.C. and Philadelphia, it’s the birthplace of the National Anthem. It has a lively nightlife, picturesque neighbourhoods, and modern entertainment areas. Its large number of African American population had an important role during the days of the Civil Rights movements.

Founded in 1729, its strategic location in an arm of the Chesapeake Bay rapidly transformed it into an important trading port. The historical site of Fort McHenry is well known for its role during the War of 1812 with the British Empire.

The city has numerous neighbourhoods that still maintain a quaint atmosphere. Fells Point is famous for its 18th and 19th-century architecture, cobbled streets, typical pubs, and plenty of restaurants. Some of the best inns and hotels in Baltimore are located here, while a more local feeling and great accommodation can also be found in Federal Hill and Midtown.

The Inner Harbor is a lively area where tourists can find modern venues and live concerts. Most Baltimore hotels are located in the Harbor, while the business district has also a wide variety of accommodation.

Whether you arrive at Penn Railway Station or Baltimore-Washington International Airport, don’t miss the deals available on Booking.com!

I come to Baltimore Harbor/Fells Point frequently.

I come to Baltimore Harbor/Fells Point frequently. I enjoy the way it has improved over the years. However, the parking is way too expensive. If persons are staying multiple days, there ought to be a discount decreased in correspondence to length of stay. There are some places that are $55 a day. If staying for 3 days or more, it should be discounted.

Baltimore is a great city for tourists.

Baltimore is a great city for tourists. It has a big city feel and a mid-city feel. It compares very favorably to Manhattan, Philadelphia, Brooklyn, DC, Boston, Charlotte, Atlanta and Miami. There is something for everyone in Baltimore. I've been three times in three months and hope to return soon.

We didn't get to go out to explore too much, but we did take the opportunity to go down by the harbor. My husband took me to the game for my birthday. He had bought me a birthday balloon. I can't tell you how many happy birthday wishes I received from perfect strangers. I found the people that we ran into were very friendly—they made my day special.

The inner harbor was beautiful, clean and very walkable.

The inner harbor was beautiful, clean and very walkable. We felt safe and saw a security/police presence. Restaurants were wonderful, great seafood and Maryland crabs! The aquarium was very impressive. A lot to do and see and planning on returning.

The price seemed reasonable. The breakfast was not great. Bad coffee, awkward set up, limited selection, not hreat quality. Amenities in the bathroom were scarce. Not a hotel I would equate the Hyatt name with.

The hotel is in a prime location in Baltimore's arts district with plenty of history in every building and step, while the hotel is situated inside a historic residence, but is tastefully modern in its interior design. The rooms are spacious and the room we had featured a writing desk that was a decorative room feature in itself. The reading chair by the window was also special/comfy. This was really an exceptionally done hotel, and everyone of the staff we interacted with were excellent!

Very convenient location to go to CFG Arena and Inner Harbor. The suites are fairly quiet (except for the noise of the doors closing, something very common in hotels) and are equipped with a refrigerator, stove, microwave, and all the necessary dishes for cooking something simple.

A nice and charming historic hotel in the heart of Downtown Baltimore. The rooms have been modernized relatively recently so the rooms are quite comfortable. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay, so we even decided to stay another night when our flight got canceled.
