The neighbourhood is great with a lot of local bars. It is a bit difficult to access Manhattan as you need to change train but it's not a big deal at all. The staff and rooms are exceptional! We will go back for sure

After reading some of the comments I went to the hotel with concerns, but everything was of the highest standard, proximity to the subway very big plus! To manhattan road takes max 15 min. Bed very large and comfortable, room clean, staff very friendly and helpful. A big plus is free to leave your luggage at the hotel after check out. I had concerns about the additional hidden fees that some people talked about in their reviews, but I was informed of all the additional costs as soon as I arrived at the hotel ($200 deposit, $20 per night tourist fee, and in-room beverages coffee, tea and water).

The location was great, and so was the Executive Club! It had everything needed for a good breakfast and plenty of working to work on the computer too! Just a peaceful place away from the hectic airport. I will gladly stay again.

A true gem, absolutely exceeded expectations. Everything spotless, brand new, and with an amazing breakfast, it saved us a ton of money in an otherwise very expensive city. The room and bathroom both very spacious and with high quality Dove soaps and products, all very sensitive skin friendly. Great location, safe easy walk to the subway and train station. For the first night we got a room on the ground floor in front of the dining hall, it was noisy and smelly from 5am. We asked for a new room and the receptionist lady immediately did everything to make it happen in less than an hour. Another day when we had some misplaced towels, the cleaning staff was also eager to help and sort it out. When asking for late checkout, they were also very flexible and helpful. All in all, if there's one top thing to highlight here, it's the staff, they were always super attentive and customer focused, it made our stay very pleasant. Kudos to all of them.

Very helpful host.

Very helpful host. I was presented with a lot of supplies such as snacks/soft drinks as well as alcohol. The room was warm and comfortable with extra balnkets etc. There was a taxi service at the end of the block and very reasonably priced once they knew you were staying the the guesthouse. The train service is less than two blocks away had plenty of trains running all day long. I got back from Broadway on a Saturday night (the station was only a block or so away from the theatre) with only 3 changes in less time than I thought. I was in bed before midnight! The neighbourhood surrounding the guesthouse is very friendly and safe.
