I recently had the pleasure of staying at Harrah's Cherokee Casino Resort, and I must say that it exceeded all of my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm and friendly smiles from the staff, who were nothing short of outstanding throughout my entire stay. The facilities at Harrah's Cherokee were truly first class. The resort itself was beautifully designed and maintained, with a luxurious atmosphere that made me feel like a VIP. The attention to detail in every aspect of the resort was evident, from the elegant decor to the impeccable cleanliness. The bedroom I stayed in was spacious and comfortable, offering a great size that allowed me to relax and unwind after a long day of activities. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. I appreciated the thoughtful amenities provided in the room, which added to the overall convenience and comfort of my stay. One of the highlights of my experience at Harrah's Cherokee was the wide range of things to do and see. Whether it was trying my luck at the casino, enjoying a delicious meal at one of the on-site restaurants, or taking in the live entertainment, there was never a dull moment. The resort truly offered something for everyone, and I appreciated the variety of options available. Overall, my stay at Harrah's Cherokee Casino Resort was exceptional. The outstanding staff, first-class facilities, and spacious bedroom all contributed to a truly memorable experience. I highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a fantastic getaway with plenty of activities and exceptional service. I can't wait to visit again in the future.

there was nothing missing in the room, it was quite spacious, clean and pleasant, the bathroom was very nice and clean with a set of towels and cosmetics, wifi worked without any problems, a huge and safe parking lot under the hotel, very nice staff, you can eat a small free breakfast in the morning

There are some great places to eat.

There are some great places to eat. In the summer months there is the beautiful Oconaluftee Island Park with towering bamboo trails to walk. You are a short distance from Mingo Falls, though it’s a little challenging, it’s worth the hike. Of course if you’re into games of chance, there’s Harrah’s Casino. At the right time of year you might greeted by some majestic elk. Always something to do, even if you just want a little down time.

Cherokee is a must visit for any reason, the scenery is...

Cherokee is a must visit for any reason, the scenery is absolutely stunning and was surprisingly less packed than what I had figured with the time of year. The outdoor drama Unto These Hills is worth going, it was absolutely beautiful and would go back to see it again. The Branded Cattle Steakhouse and Native Brews Tap & Grill were both on hour long waits, and both menus looked great, but we were too hungry and opted for Burger King. I was with my best friend and family but would be just as great to have spent with a partner. Happy Traveling

We absolutely love floating the Ocanlufte river, the indigenous people and all the attractions. The hiking trails are amazingly beautiful and to be able to experience a close encounter with the elk is awesome! As for a great breakfast, Peter’s Pancake and Waffle House is the bomb! Sometimes you have to wait a bit but totally worth it! For dinner we usually grab a chicken dinner to go at the “All fried up” restaurant and take it back to our room to enjoy, but if you are looking for a great seafood restaurant, take a 14 mile trip to Sylvia to the Creekside Oyster house! Best seafood in N.C. In my opinion. If you enjoy hiking be sure to go to Bryson to the Deep creek hiking trails where you can see 3 different waterfalls , people tubing, and all sorts of beautiful nature all on the well maintained trails.

Cherokee has really done some growing since I was there...

Cherokee has really done some growing since I was there shortly after the pandemic. Great new eateries, nice hotels. Getting around Cherokee was easy. Husband and I are both seniors and we did the Oconaluftee River tubing. We had a ball! Highly recommend. Only wish we had planned to stay in Cherokee longer.

Cherokee is a beautiful place in the mountains of North Carolina to stay a day or weeks to get away from the rush rush of everyday routine. A must stop is at Harrah's casino for fun food and entertainment
