Two things impressed us regarding this hotel; the staff were amazing. Really friendly and helpful nothing was to much trouble. Secondly it was very clean. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice and a variety of hot food during g our stay.

I've been travelling the States for a few weeks now and this is only the second place that has had the hot water hot enough for how I like my showers. I loved that I finally got a steamy shower! The bed was comfortable and it was quiet, which made falling asleep no problem. The staff helped me by finding more businesses when I had trouble finding a taxi that was available for a morning pick up. Their help meant I was able to get to my early morning tour. I definitely would recommend this hotel.

It was perfect all around. The location right on the canal allows for kayaking trips to beautiful spots like Three Sister Springs and Hunter Springs. We were thrilled with the amenities, especially the private kayaks, the comfortable beds, and the kitchen equipment. Communication with the owners was friendly and uncomplicated.

This was truly amazing! The camper had everything you need (big bedroom, bathroom,fully equipped kitchenette). And even a big tv and big sofa chairs. Outside there was this nice place where we could bbq, build a fire and relax. And as a bonus our own swimming pool!

We had two days to explore Crystal River.

We had two days to explore Crystal River. We took a boat ride 1st whole day and second day a kayak tour. Both guides very informative. Three Sisters has the best view of manatees. But nothing else of interest - just wide walking or biking trials but super clean bathrooms. Pavilion with picnic tables. Staff on site for manatee viewing but nothing else to see. I think they are missing a great opportunity to educate the public. If you are not viewing manatees there really isn't anything else to do.

We visited friends, but besides that we love the springs and this time went scalloping which was exhausting but such a cool experience! The town is cute to walk around with coffee shops, restaurants, antiques, gift shops, etc. manatees are not as numerous in the summer, but there are some around. Our friend had a boat which is a lot of fun on the River, but you can use kayaks or paddle boards also. Definitely worth a visit!

Two days in good weather is pleanty of time in Crystal River. Three Sisters Springs and Homosassa Springs are the only real highlights. The weather was perfect for manatee viewing and we saw at least fifty in Three Sisters and about a dozen at Homosassa. At both places the water is so clear you get a great view. "Downtown" Crystal River is ver small with a few touristy shops. We ate at Amy's on the Avenue on a quiet patio; the food was very good. We saw many people swimming "with" manatees but they are crodoned off and unless a manatee happened to swim near, they weren't actually close. We preferred seeing them from shore and they were within a few feet.

Comfortable temperatures for first week of February! Cool nights, greatly warmer days! Vibe is very easy going. Plenty of restaurants-had lunch at a very nice Italian Deli-Cappo's and another day lunch at Cody's-around for many years!. Stayed at Professor Rousseau's on the lake! Gulf Beach was closed while they were correcting it from the past hurricanes and surge. But, there is a great seafood lunch venue on the road to the beach that was closed Monday and Tuesday...great view of water and Pelicans there!

As recommended by the tour guides, make sure on visiting mid-Jan/late-Feb to ensure a great experience swimming and snorkeling while manatees are around, with the possible activities, I would say a 3-night stay would be great. Getting around the facilities is easy, nearby restaurants are good. Favorite spot definitely the pool, big enough to not feel crowded and with plenty of tables and chairs for everyone. Have fun.

Everything! I have never been a guest in a more friendly hotel. From the front desk, to the cleaning staff, and to the breakfast crew and other hotel guests... everyone was friendly and interested in making my stay pleasant. No hassle check in. Plenty of convenient on-site parking. Clean and comfortable facility.. The complimentary breakfast was well organized and offered a sufficient amount and selection. I highly recommend this Holiday inn Express. The location is conveniently located to local shopping, restaurants, and Manatee excursions.

It's location was great for restaurants, walks and for sight seeing. Hotel is spotlessly clean and you get a lovely surprise of a bag if croissants each afternoon. It's a lovely touch. Great location for getting onto or into the river for Manatee spotting or swimming with the manatees. Nice beach nearby at Hunters spring for sunbathing and swimming

Wonderful B&B by the water with kayaks to explore the area. Thematic and beautiful rooms with all amenities and gourmet coffee, outstanding tasty breakfast and best of all the most fantastic hosts. Beautiful views and sunrise from the veranda. We loved every minute and felt at home the minute we arrived.
