Dried up old factory town.

Dried up old factory town. The only thing worth visiting is my mom's grave site and the old downtown area. Years of debilitating democratic bureaucrats controlling this poverty stricken state. Truly feel sorry for the people who live here. Thank God I got out!

I’m going to drop Booking .Com as this Hotel was terrible. You can redeem your status with me if you can find me a hotel with in 8 miles of Ankeny, Iowa I need it to be the best in all categories such as a bar great breakfast clean rooms, two queen beds suite with a hot tub in a motel

Great little town.

Great little town. Looks like a great place to go fishing with the Lake near by the hotel. My son would love that on our next trip down to the area. I ate at Diamond's Family Restaurant and the food was so good. I highly recommend.

Would never ever travel to this town.

Would never ever travel to this town. We just have family there. Rock Springs is cool, good children's museum....that's about it. Lots of bars and cash advance places....very ghetto. Unsafe

I was born and raised in Decatur, so it holds a special...

I was born and raised in Decatur, so it holds a special place for me. I still have lots of family in and around town. That being said, if you aren't visiting for work, a school/college reunion or visiting family as I do, there isn't a lot of tourist attraction. Decatur is doing its best to recover from lots of industry leaving, the pandemic and all it altered, and the entire change home shopping creates.

I really enjoyed my stay in Decatur, especially the Mueller...

I really enjoyed my stay in Decatur, especially the Mueller museum and the Staley museum. Everyone I met in restaurants and other places were very friendly. There is a lot of history in Decatur and I will be coming back for another visit.

I don’t not like the staff specifically the maintenance man the gave me a problem about smoking in the room but I don’t smoke and I was barely at they room I got back from breakfast at Perkins and it was a note on the tv that said if I’m going to be smoking I need to check out ??? I do not like being bothered with something I did not do and paid my money to be there the room was clean I only slept there and left

The staff was all very friendly. From the man who checked us in to the woman who checked us out and everyone in between. Breakfast was good, and there was someone refilling trays and anything else frequently. The whole hotel was very clean, including the pool area and the fitness center. We will definitely stay here again when we’re in town.

First of all you need to learn how to keep reservations and not over book your hotel. Me and my family had to drive clear across town late at night because of your hotel’s fuck up. Why do you take reservations if you are going to give my room away?!
