One of the nicest experiences in years. A gem of a hotel, the staff are extremely helpful. The restaraunts on site are fabulous and the value was eye-popping! The dinner menu was a treat to choose from and delicious, yes! Breakfast was the same in the cafe, smoked salmon, hello! The remodeling was a success as the rooms are very nicely appointed, comfortable and well laid out. In spite of being nearly a century old the building is very well maintained and the charm and history well preserved. Looking forward to many more stays in the future

Portions at breakfast and dinner were large - high quality, very tasty food. Good service - all good! Rene and Jesse were outstanding in check in and bar service respectively. The lobby is storied - worth the trip. Amazing border history. As a Viet Nam veteran, the veterans exhibit is exceptional. Keep this!!! Douglas is a town that cares....

The policies of this hotel are really perfect. No hassle with our yellow lab. Early check-in? No problem. We had to do dental work in Mexico so the early check-in was greatly appreciated. We didn't even spend the night. But their policies were greatly appreciated. The pool was sparkling clean I wish we had time to take a dip.
