The room was modern, comfortable, parking was easy, and it was great value (we were there in low season). The location isn't on the beach but we had a car so that wasn't a problem. There were plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The free breakfast was a bonus and had plenty of options. We particularly liked how quiet the hotel was, and note that it was setback off the main road more than many similar choices.

Very friendly staff. Big, clean rooms with all you need for a nice stay. You can walk across the parking lot to a great Jamaican restaurant and a sports pub. A water and juicy apple were a nice welcome after the drive in.

Hilton Head has a lot to do for those visiting.

Hilton Head has a lot to do for those visiting. They have parking right near the beach that's free. Coligony Plaza has plenty of restaurants and shopping. It's walkable with plenty choices. If you forget something, there's a Piggly Wiggly supermarket in Coligony Plaza just in case you wanted to buy groceries. If you want more food and shopping choices, I would suggest the Palmetto Bay Marina. It's a short drive and if you wanted to go do a dolphin tours you can sign up there or if you want to eat by the water, my choice is the Black Marlin. Great seafood and foods.

Heavy traffic for miles getting in and out - even at the end of October. The 2.5 hr Gulla Heritage Trail tour was excellent - if you are interested in the history and culture of the island. Suggest visiting both the Coastal museum on Hilton Head and the Penn Center museum on nearby St. Helena Island.

We enjoy Hilton Head Island even though we come from...

We enjoy Hilton Head Island even though we come from Clearwater Beach area. We love that you can walk or ride bikes safely. There had been a hurricane close so the water was closed, but we were able to walk the beach, and loved just sitting and relaxing. Perfect destination for our 50th wedding anniversary. We always love Hilton Head and the surrounding area, including the shopping We ate at the French Cafe, and One Hot Mamas for lunch and dinner.

It is a beautiful area that is well maintained.

It is a beautiful area that is well maintained. Therr are the usual touristy souvenir shops. Grocery stores are near the hotel area. Local restaurants are convenient to reach. Check out the local small shops located away from the main tourist areas. You will find many commercial stores from your own hometown there as well.

I love hilton head island.

I love hilton head island. I have been going there every year for several years for a golf tournament. The beaches are beautiful. Everything is close by. They have everything that need. My favorite place to stay is hilton head beach and tennis resort. Easy access to the beach.

There were plenty of great options for children to stay...

There were plenty of great options for children to stay entertained and enjoy the experience, which we really appreciated. However, we did experience some uncomfortable interactions in the area — particularly from a few individuals who seemed uneasy or unwelcoming toward people wearing hijabs. While this may not reflect everyone in the community, it did affect how inclusive the environment felt at times.

Very clean apartment, and also very well appointed- the kitchen had lots of equipment and crockery, as well as a coffee machine and dishwasher. The washing machine and tumble dryer were also fantastic as so much time was spent on the beach, which was only a couple of minutes walk away

They are still being very lazy post COVID. Don't give me the "Green Initiative" crap, you're just behind cheap and lazy! No room cleaning unless you're there 3 nights are more. Not even by request. No breakfast, again using COVID as an excuse.
