Cute town.
Cute town. Close to Delaware River activities such as renting from Lander's River Trips. The Italian restaurant in town was very good. We did not think The Stourbridge Line Train Excursion was worth it at all though. Maybe if we had young children, but not for adults.

Restaurant choice was extremely limited on Monday.
Restaurant choice was extremely limited on Monday. The town itself is pleasant, inexpensive. We are at the 1812 bar at the hotel owned by the same group that owns our bnb. It was a very comfortable, attractive old bar with large windows and good street views.

There was nothing to like at this hotel. I was given a dirty room and at least the guy at the front desk apologized for it after I showed him photos. He stated that they just had a flood and had reopened the hotel, and that someone must have sneaked in and stayed in that room. Although the room looked like it had not been cleaned or checked on in a very longtime.

The apartment was spacious - loved the porch. Lots of activity on the main road. Had the pleasure of attending the Wayne County Fair, taking a ride on the train and walking through downtown Honesdale.

The breakfast was homey. Good, hot, plentiful--nothing out of the ordinary, but nothing to complain about.
The location was perfect for seeing the sights of Honesdale.
The bed was comfortable.

Everything except not remembering the two flights of stairs. Knees! 🥹 It was a unique, cool, and delightful stay. I’ll come back. Thank you!
