From the time we initially pulled up to the valet, everything was uphill from there. The valet attendants were all very pleasant, helpful and accommodating. Same for both bell captains, excellent! The front desk, the George, the location were ALL top-notch. Although that was our first time staying at the Durango, it certainly will not be our last time. In fact, we've already said we will be coming back next year for our annual Jazz Festival. We also shared our experience with several friends, and they will stay there as well. Thank you for a WONDERFUL experience!

The property is accessible and not as populated as the ones in the strip. The mall was also a distance walk. I like how we were able to check in earlier. The ice refill station is just near. Their breakfast variety has been nothing but amazing. More protein or meat options next time, perhaps?

The entire staff was very friendly, polite and helpful. It smelled so clean as soon as you walked into the lobby. The entire place was really clean actually. The location was perfect because it was close enough to the strip, but not too close and there were shopping centers and restaurants nearby. I would definitely stay here again.

FAQs about hotels in Las Vegas

Take a Chance in Sin City

Famed for its glamorous casinos, celebrity visitors and endless streams of entertainment, Las Vegas buzzes with activity 24/7. Located in the heart of the Nevada desert, this city is called the Entertainment Capital of the World for a reason.

You can stroll down Fremont Street in old Las Vegas like a member of the Rat Pack or act like a modern high-roller at Caesar’s Palace. Prepare for a long night as the neon lights of clubs and casinos will tempt you to sink into the world of gambling and music.

Las Vegas is renowned of its fine dining, great shopping and live performances of famous artists and comedians. Right from the moment you leave McCarran International Airport you can try your luck at a slot machine, but you might want to wait until you get to the Las Vegas strip and the dozens of larger than life casinos.

When you’re ready for a break from the bustle of the city, visit the nearby Hoover Dam with the largest man-made lake, Lake Mead. The Paiute Indian Reservation in Vegas’ downtown area offers something a bit more spiritual.

Whichever type of accommodation you choose, whether a skyscraper hotel or a design city apartment, you’ll never run out of fantastic activities in Sin City. Booking.com has the perfect place to stay for your Vegas vacation.

Busy city that has a different personality during the day...

Busy city that has a different personality during the day than at night. The city was being configured for a formula 1 Grand Prix race (F1GP), so the water feature at the Bellagio was not visible from the street (race set for 20-22 Nov 25). A number of homeless wandered the streets or were sleeping in noticeable places yet one did not feel unsafe. During the night hours, tacky, scantily-clad “showgirls” walked around in twos, many with only pasties over their nipples. If you do not want your children to be in this type of company, be forewarned!

I come to Vegas a lot I'm from California and I like to hit all the restaurant spots people say it's expensive but if you look on YouTube you can find some great deals on Fremont and even on the strip or outside the strip you can find some cheap eats so that's what I do when I come to Vegas very often to see friends and hang out on the nightlife on the strip or on Fremont just walking seeing people having a great time soon one day I would live here

Very expensive.

Very expensive. I was shocked. $90 for 3 breakfast sandwiches, 2 orders of hash browns, 3 orange juices and one coffee. $450+ tax and tip for Superfrico, which included a mediocre dinner and a near terrible show. Ubers were relatively inexpensive, but sometimes did not show and we still got charged, or they wanted us to walk a half mile to meet them, or left you stranded, and NONE spoke English. Lyft left us stranded and charged us for it. Smoke filled rooms, smoke smell sometimes on the beautiful balcony of the Cosmopolitan Hotel, unfriendly hotel staff. For the money, I’d rather be someplace else. The airport drove me crazy. We had a several hour wait for our flight and all we heard was the continuing clanging of the slot machines. Seeing The Wizard of Oz at the Sphere was amazing, though,

I was there for one day and that was too long.

I was there for one day and that was too long. Its a tacky expensive experience that I thought I needed to make the effort and see first hand, but I regret it. Whilst the hotels and shops might at first sight impress why would anyone want to visit the smoke filled rooms with women dancing on tables. Was a throw back to the 80's experiences that I think more widely societey has recognised are poor but vegas continues to promote. Sadly I think even the IT geeks can find a better place to conference where they might find more to do that chat on latest product releases. Alternatively if do go away to expereince the holel alone and like smokingh then it might be for you

I used this hotel as I needed to remain in town an extra night after a sales conference and the cost of the MGM hotel I was originally in was too high. Whilst Ellis Island was cheaper I felt it was a well managed hotel with good facilities, helpful staff and was importantly clean. Making it great value for money in my opinion. Also, even though I'm not a gambler I did look around the casino they run and found the size and older feel much more appealing than the mega casino's on the strip.

The hotel was very centrally located close to the Las Vegas Strip. The rooms were very spacious and well maintained. Free parking was extremely convenient as it’s obviously a major city and parking can be a major problem. The staff were friendly, especially the Consierge who went above and beyond to book our trip to the Grand Canyon. I would definitely recommend this hotel, it’s way cheaper than any of the others close by.
