The retro decor was amazing and the place has a very chilled vibe which was perfect for what we were after. The room was great and the bed was comfy. We stayed for two nights and slept really well. The owners are so friendly and also went out of their way to help us wash our clothes which we really appreciated so much. They also gave us some recommendations of places to stop off on our way along the Blue Ridge Parkway - we managed some of them and got to see two amazing waterfalls so thank you.

We loved the cleanliness of the room, the brightness, the light, and the decoration, which was truly thoughtful, down to the details of the small pieces of furniture. The river flowing behind the property is very soothing, and the setting feels poetic and bucolic—almost romantic, I would say. The quality of the welcome and the motel overall should serve as an example—even to establishments that claim to be more prestigious—and could truly teach a lesson to the biggest franchises. You can genuinely feel the care and the intention to do everything possible to make the guest feel as comfortable as possible, and it's truly a great success.

Horrific traffic, row after row of places to stay, many of which were rundown. Ticky-tacky area of town. A total disappointment. After 7 hours driving to get there, I was ready to leave upon arrival! Only salvation was the Cafe Italiano restaurant across the street. Good food and great prices!

Maggie Valley is a beautiful location to visit.

Maggie Valley is a beautiful location to visit. There isn't a great deal for children to do in Maggie Valley but it isn't too far to go to Cherokee, Waynesville, or Bryson City to find family friendly activities.

Country vittles is the BEST place for breakfast - usually too full to try their lunch. They are closed Tuesdays. The BBQ in the plaza is okay, Chinese restaurant sucks. Want to gem mine or pan for gold - go to Thermal City out by Union Mill, east of Asheville. Cherokee is a great place to visit as is Gem City in Franklin

We love Maggie Valley!! It is beautiful!! A great place to relax and enjoy the beautiful Mountain View’s! It’s a great location near everything you would want to do in the mountains!! It’s a quiet and family friendly place to stay!! We go couple times a year!!

This is the peaceful side of the Smokey Mountains. Not a lot to do in the immediate area, but plenty within a short drive. We ate at the Brickhouse Burgers and Pizza; they have amazing food. Their onion rings are the best that I have ever eaten.

We go three times a year as vendors for the Thunder in the Smokies bike rally. We love it. Folks are kind and welcoming. We enjoy Guayabitos Mexican restaurant, Organic Beans Coffee Co., Joey's Pancake House, and Country Vittles are our in town favs. Wheels through Time is amazing and our grandson loves to Mini Golf at the local putt putt. It's a quant small town with big charm.

Excellent nostalgic motel with clean rooms, pool and laundry. The staff were friendly and polite which really enhanced our stay. It was very quiet so my wife and I both had a great sleep. We would like to come back and spend a few days there enjoying everything Maggie Valley has to offer.
