- Fast elevators: this is very important in the financial district as in some hotels I used to wait 10 minutes. - We got a room with an amazing view on the 30th floor. Just beautiful! - All facilities in perfect order, the linen was of good quality with a choice of pillows. - A/C worked fine in August. - Daily emptying of the trash bin, fresh towels and the bed was made up. - Extremely convenient location just 1 min from the subway entrance.

The best way to understand Manhattan is to do a lot of walking and use the Subway. We visited all the well established attractions plus walked the length of Central Park from N to S as well as taking in an NHL game at Madison Square Garden & an NFL game at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. Our planned "expensive" meal was a Club A steakhouse (7/10), and out favorite meal was at Grimaldi's Pizza Restaurant just over the Brooklyn Bridge. If you are keen on Sports, go to Finnerty's Bar near Penn St station on 34th Street.

We had a excellent time in New York.

We had a excellent time in New York. The Pearl Hotel was a wonderful place to stay, I would will stay there again next time I come back into town. It was in a great location, close to everything. The staff was very helpful and kind. The rooms and hotel was very clean. My husband isn't much of a city guy but had a wonderful time in New York also. We were in town 5 days which was perfect. We went to see three shows, took the bus tour to the 911 museum. This is a must see when you are there. It was extremely moving! I can't wait to go back!

BOOKING.COM ALLOWED ME TO BE SCAMMED AND I WAS STRANDED in New York City w/ my minor age child without a room. DO NOT USE BOOKING.COM unless you want to be misled into thinking you actually have a place to stay and they charged me for it 2 months ago now I have to waste my time fighting w/my credit card and not to mention our trip was COMPLETELY RUINED because of Booking.com

Always something new to see, never enough time to see it all...

Always something new to see, never enough time to see it all. A yearly trip is always worth it, even if it's just for a weekend in December to go shopping, catch a show and eat your favorite sandwich. TIP: Stay away from TopView Bus. It's definitely the worst. I've used them 3 times now and they just get worse everything. Get a subway pass instead or try another bus tour, I'll be trying BigBus next time I'm in New York. Review to come....

New York City impressed me on this trip.

New York City impressed me on this trip. Ground Zero felt powerful and emotional. A place filled with history, resilience, deep remembrance. The Brooklyn Bridge offered incredible views. A strong sense of old New York in every step. Times Square felt vibrant, electric, unforgettable. The city appeared much cleaner than I remember from my younger days. Coney Island delivered classic New York charm. Central Park felt calm, beautiful, timeless. The Pig Whistle Irish Bar on 37th Street & 6th Ave provided a warm atmosphere. A memorable stop filled with great character. The Statue of Liberty stood iconic as always. The Empire State Building felt equally impressive. Overall, New York City felt familiar, renewed, full of life, rich in history, unforgettable in every way. I will see her again very soon

The most amazing experience.

The most amazing experience. We visited in early December when Christmas is racking up and it was BUSY! You need your wits about you at all times as everything moves at a fast pace. So much to see so plan your itinerary in advance to get the best out of the city. Use the subway - it's cheap and efficient.

The location was magnificent in the heart of Manhattan, just a short stroll from Times Square. Loved it. There's nowhere in central New York that could really be described as 'good value' - but this was less expensive than most and had everything we needed. The staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again if we came back to NYC.

Excellent hotel. For its class, probably the best you can find in Manhattan. Great breakfast, cozy and comfortable rooms, there is a gym, laundry. Parking a few steps away 24/7 for $65 per day. Breakfast is very good and there is even an option to take it with you. The location is great, a couple of minutes from Times Square and Broadway.
