Huge room!! Perfect for our family of 5, unfortunately only had 1night passing through. The beds were so comfy, shower perfect. Decor very modern. Pool was great and heated. Modern laundry which i did make use of..takes quarters ($2) but reception were happy to swap a note for these. We ate at the restaurant as we were too tired to venture out and we all enjoyed it. Slept well, would definately come back.

WE have visited San Luis Obipo many times and have walked by the Hotel San Luis Obispo. WE never booked it because of its high price. This time, tired of the overprced and often run-down hotels and motels in town we decided to spend more and book a room. We were very impressed with teh hotel design, teh larger, modern and comforatble room and all the amenites including apool taht was heated to be very comfortable. And the staff!- Wveryone was vey friendly and helpful. I spoke to one of the staff and complimented her and the hotel. One more thing- the next morning we planned to have Brunch at a local restaurant we know. We decied at teh last minute to have brunch at the hotel instead, to give it a try. We ordered the moked samon. Instead of being just the usual simple combination of salmon, cream cheese and bagel with maybe some tomotoes, capers, etc. this cama on a large plate with a big portion of salmon with pesto, really freash tomotoes, caper beriies, jalapenos, pickled onions, capers, Calabrian style red chili peppers, a salad and more. it was the absolutely best I've ever had, and we've been to many high-end restaurants. We thinkl the hotela nd restaurant hit a home run!

WE have visited San Luis Obipo many times and have walked by the Hotel San Luis Obispo. WE never booked it because of its high price. This time, tired of the overprced and often run-down hotels and motels in town we decided to spend more and book a room. We were very impressed with teh hotel design, teh larger, modern and comforatble room and all the amenites including apool taht was heated to be very comfortable. And the staff!- Wveryone was vey friendly and helpful. I spoke to one of the staff and complimented her and the hotel. Roaches lots of them!

Roaches lots of them! I had to buy Lysol and other disinfectants along with everything else roach repellant. Lady was not inviting towards us at all. We will be requesting refund don't stay here! Don't stay at the Olive tree inn n suites

We were married there 57 years ago so we return for our anniversary. We love the Street Fair on Thursday night in SLO and it is central to go to Morro Bay, Cayucos, or Pismo. We love Duckies in Cayucos and the Splash in Pismo. Brown Butter Cookies in Cayucos and Cowboy Cookies in Pismo are great too.

Beautiful small city with a comfortably busy downtown full of art galleries, restaurants, boutiques, museums, and historic landmarks. The weather was perfect every day, which is typical for the area most of the year. San Luis Obispo is also close to some of the best beaches in California.

SLO and eazy. The city does it right. Close to all the wonders of the central coast: highway 1 to Big Sur, Morro Bay, Pismo Beach, wine tasting in paso Robles. Abundance of restaurants and shops, great weather and the Mission all make SLO a great place to visit.

There is a farmers market downtown on Thursday evenings during the summer. Though my recent visit was on a Tuesday, I've been to the event in the past and it's an enjoyable way to spend the evening. I highly recommend Louisa's Place for breakfast. Most (but not all) of the seating is at the counter, so that could be a problem for families or groups of people. I arrived at 8:00 and luckily there was one seat at the counter. When I left about 45 minutes later, there were at least a dozen people waiting to be seated. The food is great. Look online and decide if it is right for you.

The atmosphere at the hostel was just great, warm and welcoming! We were arriving from LA, were everything felt a bit dispersive, so finding this little nest has been fantastic! The position is superb in the nice San Luis Obispo, really close to Pismo Beach and perfect for an exploration along the coast. Ah, Gary, your pancakes are awesome :)

Great hotel for a one night stop. A bit outside of the center, but there is a good restaurant next to the hotel. Hotel is modern and the room was big, clean and comfortable. Good breakfast options.
