Siloam Springs is a nice little town in the forested hills...

Siloam Springs is a nice little town in the forested hills of NW Arkansas. The people are friendly and the town is relatively clean and well kept. In my opinion, it is not a destination itself but has several fast food and casual dining restaurants along with drug stores, hardware stores and (this IS Arkansas) a Walmart. It is a great base that will support you with food and supplies while you pursue your interests in the area.

It had a good location.

It had a good location. The room could have been checked before people arrive. There were dead flies on floor. Fridge had issue. The bed was very comfortable. We would probably stay there again if needed.

Siloam is my hometown, so I may be a bit biased.

Siloam is my hometown, so I may be a bit biased. That said, it has aged well. The downtown is quite nice and there are plenty of restaurants and such. It is also situated in a beautiful area with plenty of forest land, rivers, lakes, and more in close proximity. It is home to John Brown University, and ½ hour or so from the University of Arkansas.

Siloam Springs was a nice town.

Siloam Springs was a nice town. It was small but had a full array of eating establishments and services (hair salons, etc...). It was also very picturesque and offered nice hiking, biking and even kayaking trails. The only issue I had was that it was a little windy but I don't think the town had any control of that! ha ha

I was unable to reach anyone at the front desk for 5 hours overnight when my room key stopped working. I waited in my car overnight to get let back in. I called the number, I emailed the property, no response from anyone. The water would not stay one consistent temperature, preventing me from using the shower. It was scalding hot or cold. I informed Mike Patel the owner, who told me he wasn't moving the room, and then used profanities with me when I asked for a refund.

The breakfasts were very good; however, they were not any better than other hotels of a similar type. The 24-hr availability of coffee was wonderful as were the extra surprise treats such as popcorn & cookies and the Happy bags. The staff members were excellent and helpful. The indoor pool was great and clean.

Everything about the hotel was great. The staff and the cleanliness was wonderful. Great location too. Easy check in and really happy with there only being a $25 hold for the room.

The location is very quiet and it's not too far from town. We really enjoyed our stay and Siloam Springs is a very nice place to visit.
