Two Harbors is in the middle of the peninsula which makes it no more than an hour from everything up there; Lutsen, Canadian border, Ely,...Great area. Hit on Betty's Pies, Joe's Fish House , North Shore Winery

No matter what season you visit Two Harbors and the surrounding North Shores communities, you will find something to see, do, try. There are notable stops along the north shores between Duluth and Grand Marais that we visited during our July 2025 visit. You can visit local shops, hike trails, see rushing waterfalls, stop for a coffee, enjoy the sounds of nature, listen to the lapping of the lakefront waves, and so much more.

Two harbors is a pretty neat small down.

Two harbors is a pretty neat small down. Most of the places we went for food were good, but nothing fancy. The view of superior was amazing though. Also only about 25 minutes or so to duluth and a lot cheaper than staying in duluth.

I liked the scenery. The wet weather was a little cool this time of year but the day of sunshine made up for it.We had to walk a distance to get to some good agate hunting, because the beaches with good access are overhunted.Gooseberry Falls was beautiful.

Was a small town 30 minutes north of Duluth. It had a great selection of restaurants. We ate at; Judy's Cafe, McQuade's Pub and Black Woods Bar and Grill and had a great meal at all. The restaurant prices were reasonable. There was a local golf course and several other golf courses within a 30-40 drive. It was a great base for touring other areas. We came to run Grandmas Marathon.

Clean, cozy, great location and a great view from the lakeside balcony. A little pricey and it does not include breakfast. A common sauna and small pool are available. Our room had a fireplace for which wood is provided. This should also make an excellent winter destination

From the time we walked into the hotel it was a pleasant experience. We were greeted with a hello. We checked in on line and when we arrived I told them my name and was handed our keys to a room. The room was clean with a microwave and refrigerator. They had a different hot breakfast each morning. We came to run a marathon and they set out the dry breakfast food and hot beverages real early to accommodate the earlier than normal runners.

The location of the cottages is exceptional! The view on Lake Superior is truly unique and we enjoyed sitting at the fireplaces along the shore. With a pool, a hot tub, massages, kayak rental and much more, the place offers a variety of great amenities. The place is very quiet but still within a ten-minutes drive to Two Harbors. In terms of location and surroundings, truly a gem!

Good breakfast. Liked the pool and spa as it was not crowded, even with the hotel being full.
