Candace and Charly are lovley hosts. The Motel has a little Market that has everything you need. Our room has pretty new interieur and a wonderful design. That by the way did the hosts on their own. In total just a wonderful place to stay. We´re looking forward for our next visit at Sugarloaf Mountain Motel in Virginia City.

Everything, this place is a gem. It was easy to find, heaps of parking, check in was easy. And the room was a "WOW". The bed was so comfortable, the room was huge. We stayed in the horse room. Well designed. We stayed 2 nights. The gardens were well kept, grass was green. It is obviously well loved by the owners

Awesome Front Desk Team, when arrived I was treated very nice and friendly. I've stayed at this location several times, every since Covid-19, probably 5 - 6 times since, and every time has been an extreme pleasure. From easy access from the parking lot, use of laundry this last time, Breakfast is Excellent, and the House Keeping Staff **FIVE STARS***.

We were there because my husband was having foot surgery at Carson-Tahoe hospital. We told the woman that when we checked in and she put us in the nearest room to the entrance. It was so easy to get him in our room. We were less than five minutes to the hospital. I really appreciated all of this, since he was still a little groggy.

Virginia City is SO COOL!

Virginia City is SO COOL! Take a trip back in time and have an absolute blast! The locals are amazingly sweet, shop owners were very nice and accommodating. We will come back for sure, more than once!

food resources. Everything shuts down early, even in peak tourist season. Diversity issues and acceptance of all an issue. State needs to control that and cut off funding if discrimination happens there.

I loved being there for 4 nights.

I loved being there for 4 nights. I always wanted to stay in the Sugrloft Mountain Motel. I finally did!, Oh I almost got arrested for J~Walking😂😂😂😂, Getting around VC was easy because of Go~Go Gaget!!

VC is a vintage silver mining town in the Sierra foothills, which has much of the original 19th century architecture still intact. Great vibe, good food and fun tours to check out. We're definitely going to come back some day.

Having booked Virginia City on our travels through the USA ,we made the error of booking Virginia City in Montana, when arriving we found that the propertyv was in Virginia City ..NEVADA ,,whoops no refund from the property when cancelled, by all accounts this happens a few times,a.little understanding from the property owner would have been grateful.

The room seemed to be recently renovated and was very clean. We loved the cute little fridge! The two staff members we met were both friendly and welcoming. Check in was easy and the motel is walking distance to downtown Virginia City.

This is a motel from the movies. I loved the outdated, yet great value for money vibe. And the location was superb! We visited Virginia City on the hot august cars days and you can just walk from the motel into the city.
