I've never actually seen all of Weslaco, but the hotels are amazing. I was very close to South Padre Island, the Mexican border in case I wanted inexpensive dental work or just wanted to hang out and shop. Nice city. Popular for birds watching. The nearby area is the famous birds corridor. If you came to Weslaco for dental services, nearby is Nuevo Progreso, famous for dental services and nice prices for Americans. Rio Grande Valley has a lot of things to see. Fast food and a shoppette grocery, within personal walker distance. Dollar Tree and more fast food and fast food gas stations, very short drive.. I like Jack's, very, very short drive, hate using my walker to cross the street. 10 min. to International Boarder parking. Opens at 0800 am. Short walker walk across bridge to my dentist. For Me, everything I need, close. Not forgetting to ask about handicap facilities, my fault, but did flag in message to Express. Forgot in write up, ice machine not far from room, great, filled bucket twice. Drink a lot of water, brought my own, enjoy water...Guest review byThomasUnited States
