I grew up in a small farming town 10 miles out of Rapids.
I grew up in a small farming town 10 miles out of Rapids.
I didn't do any site seeing or looking for a great restaurant.
This was a return visit for family every year.
Rapids is easy to get around. It has many historical places to go.

The town is spread out a lot more than I thought.
The town is spread out a lot more than I thought. I was pretty dependent upon my gps to get me around. This was not an issue since the purpose of my trip was to spend all three days at the kennels where the seminar took place.

it had a great bar room with pool tables, darts, and volleyball courts outside, and a pool, hot tub, and sauna, also liked they had a great restaurant in the hotel also(didnt get to eat there though) overall a pleasant place to stay.

Hotel was in a good location, walking distance of Walgreens & Dollar Tree.
It is also close to several restaurants.
Comfortable bed and the great water pressure in the shower.

No carpeting in the guest room made the room feel cleaner. The hotel was centrally located and was near restaurants, stores and near the baseball fields we were visiting.

It was clean. But no hair dryer or Kleenex in the room. No iron or ironing board, things should find in other hotels. TV remote didn’t work very good.
